New single, taken from the upcoming album "Ragnarök" (October 22). ► Stream / Download: faravid.ffm.to/till-valhall.oyd ► Pre-order album: faravid.ffm.to/ragnarok.oyd
The Swedish version has Odin watching and smiling from afar, presumably from Valhall. The English version has Odin "descending," presumably meaning he's entering the mortal world. You could say it's just a bit of translator's allowance for making the cadence work better. But I think the connotations of the whole song end up quite different for it, in a way that makes the English version hit harder and fit better with the theme of Ragnarök. This from someone who usually prefers the Swedish versions BTW.
When he says 'You hear me, Odin, I'm coming.' gives me the sense of he's not asking to go into Vahalla; he's telling Odin that he is. He's not leaving it up for debate.
@@michaelmoses8745 I tried quite a few different recipes from around the internet and some books. You can turn your mead into pretty much anything, and the ultimate recipe depends on what you want to get out of your mead: whether you want it to be dry or sweet, fruity or classic "show," harder or softer. I like my mead to be sweet (this is the whole point of mead, to me; if you want dry, just buy some brut at a store, the taste will be very similar), so I figured out the following recipe which is optimal to me (for a 2-liter batch): add 700-1000 grams (depends on its quality, density, and sweetness) of honey into a vessel you are using, add water to the brim. Shake or stir the must until it's homogenous. Then, add a teaspoon of yeast. When it comes to yeast, I found Safale S-04 to give the best results. That's it; you don't need any other ingredients. Put an airlock on and leave it to ferment at 20-25 degrees Celsius for about a month. The resulting product is rather sweet (in fact, some people may find it too sweet, but it depends on preferences) but with a very prominent poignant aftertaste. Don't forget to pasteurize the product if you intend to keep it for some time.
I like how he talks about the strength of his sword, how "It did not break or bend" And when you look at the graphic, you can see that the sword is actually damascened. It's Damascus steel
Always impressed with Hulkoff, some songs are weaker than others but I can't think of a single Hulkoff song I could describe as bad without comparing it to another Hulkoff song.
Once you fight with steel and pride and you get your guts spilled on the battlefield .The beautiful fragrant breeze from Valhalla will take your pain and misery away....
A friend recommend this band because i listen to sabaton, i gave you a try, and i have to say you are easily one of my favourite bands, the amount of energy this songs give me is unexpected and just makes me feel powerful, HAIL VALHALLA!!
The singer of this band wrote another song asspecially mentioning how much he hates hip hop, he has a secondary country band called bourbon boys hahaha

Good thing I have some nice homebrew mead for occasions like this, so I can raise a horn to the fallen.
Could you share your recipe and process.
