Before the negative comments start. This is a sled totally capable of hooliganism. As stated in the video, there is a time and place for off trail riding. Please always respect private property as this is not the place! But if you have the time to get to the right place to ride off trail, this sled is amazing as a crossover machine.
These sled are so fun. Iv been riding a buddies xc and it’s such a blast to ride. Wheelies for days and so quick. Awesome drag race sled. Been going back and forth between gen 5 xrs renegade 850 and the assault 850. Assaults a hoot to ride. Xrs is blah! Yes can ride doo faster thru trail but there’s not much of a fun factor.
@@JMX07 yea no kindling I was just saying the assault is more fun. The xrs is a trail weapon though . Iv owned everything so I know what’s what I’m just saying the assault has a fun factor that the trail sled does not have.
I've been between a Lynx rave and an assault for a while, not purchasing for another year or so due to finances. Always hear about the assaults getting hot on trail. Is this common? also, what is too hot? everyone says something different. I just like the feel of the matryx, never rode a lynx but i ride aggressive. xterrain is too bulky though for me i have sat on one.
818 miles of trails only on my 23 assault boost this year with 2.0 track. trail conditions were not great, didnt have anymore heating issues then buddies with 23 XCR 850s with 1.3 inch track. Assaault is a fun sled, I came from a 22 XCR and I dont see going back...more fun.
