- In this video I will give a detailed review of the new Leatherman Batch 007 Malloy Special, and compare it to a similar and established skinning knife, the Buck 113 Ranger Skinner.

Man you have beautiful knives. I love that Leatherman and buck knife
Yep, I somehow always stab through my leather sheaths and have to opt for a kydex replacement, especially if I try to belt carry them. I have held out on carrying the batch 006 for this reason, the 007 does fit in my front pocket so I can carry it this way until I can get an aftermarket sheath for it! Thanks for posting your thoughts on it, so far I am very pleased with this knife.
Yeah, in retrospect, I could see how pulling this in and out of your belt multiple times a day as an EDC could eventually wear down on the leather if you're not paying close attention each and every time you slip it in the sheath
Love your review, thank you👍🏻
I’d like to grab a Streamlight, can I have the model details of yours pls👍🏻
It's the streamlight microstream. They have them in rechargeable USB models and replaceable battery models (AAA) like the 2 I own.
Knafs Lulu would have been a better option than the #7 IMHO.
Never heard of them, but they seem more along the line of camp knife with that blade profile and scandi grind. Not that you can't use any knife for any reason you want.
you coulda got a bark river little creek 2 in magnacut for less money and its a way way way way better knife
That's a bit subjective, because the blade profile on that little creek seems more along the lines of an upland knife than anything. And it still is running at the $200+ mark. As it stands, you can get the Buck 113 in magnacut for less than $200, regarding skinning knife blade profiles.
