    I’m pro knots. It’s peace of mind 🤣

      Exactly. Now I'm not panicking that I stretched the yarn too much or something wearing the projects

    Awesome. Another gal that procrastinates weaving in. You have to be in the zone.

    This is on my mind every time I start a crochet project, sometimes it’s too difficult to weave in ends seamlessly, and you really don’t have to so long as it’s as secure a you need it to be and as hidden as you want.
    Whether it’s ‘proper’ or not is your decision and it doesn’t have to be something you worry about starting say a color changing project that will have multiple yarn ends, by worrying about it being seamless and not knowing if without the knots the weave in is good enough, you’re making the yarn ends a bigger task than they have to be, just breathe and deal with them how you please.
    Thank you for the video!! ❤❤

    I do that with my hats and cowls sometimes. The ends are just hanging out on the inside! And I tie knots too! It just feels safer. 😅👍

    The cowl looks beautiful!
    I don't like knots in my work, but only because the knowledge of them being in my clothes itches my brain unpleasantly. Even if I don't really feel them👁👁

    I found a scarf I made in 2017 recently and realised I never worked in the ends. It's so warm I don't wear it every winter. It's only for the super cold years which we don't always get so I had worn it without bothering. I picked it up recently and was surprised to see them all still there.

    I HATE WEAVING IN ENDS. I'm a crocheter and I work them in literally whenever possible

    I love the knots. I think if you see a knot, it takes me back to when I was knitting or crocheting my project. Like a little memory dot. ❤

    Lately I've also worn some knitting projects before weaving in ends and blocking. I just was so excited to wear the items. Maybe I'll do the finishing at the first laundering....

    I have a colourwork beret that must be 8 years old, I wear it every winter and I’ve never sewn the ends in! ❤

      I've got a colourwork sweater that is about 6, and I must have stopped weaving ends on the second sleeve, I just keep them tucked in.

      I think its more just my eagerness to wear it right away that made me tuck the ends in. I'm probably more the funny one.

    I’m really bad about weaving my ends in. I made a massive entrelac blanket for my best friend, but I haven’t gotten the ends woven in yet. I’m only about half done. And I didn’t leave long enough tails, so it has to be done with a crochet hook instead of a needle.

    • @jayvee1387
      @jayvee1387 5 місяців тому

      ive never seen entrelac crochet before so i googled it..... OMG my brain literally melted looking at all the detail 😅 i have a hard enough time with regular crochet patterns and i just got into mosaic crochet (not for ppl who hate weaving in ends btw) and thats also driving me kinda crazy lol
