I'm okay with everything you said except for being okay with him coming in 2nd place. He was consistently great. Wayne wasn't (as much as I loved his performances) he lost his breath badly trying to dance and sing! Any other things.
@@stephaniewade2973 It actually broke my heart, but I had to be fair. Wayne was really good and he did put on a "better performance" even though his voice wasn't as pure as Chris. It was hard to be "just ok" for sure.
You know, I recognized his voice but I couldn't place it but as soon as my daughter walked in and heard his voice, she looked at the TV and said "you know that's Chris Daughtry right?" I could've smacked her 😂
Wayne won because everyone knew it was Wayne off the bat, and while he is great, everyone just loves Wayne. Chris was better, but that unknown factor kept people from voting imo.
I WANTED him to win so bad. Was ok he got 2nd place. The song Castle on a Hill almost broke me, I was in tears. He is so damn good.
