Currently doing it again after beating it at 12. Yeah its hard as fuck because of the glitches but i usually play it the way it wants to be played and have few issues. Think im stuck on mach speed in crisis city though.

I just wanna know what poor conditions they had to go through to make a game this bad
This game needed like 4 or 3 years in development, but because of Microsoft they had to do it in a hurry.

@@nataliuswolf450 and they want a sonic game in Wii as they can't port 06 to Wii so they split the team into half and half of sonic team make a sonic game for wii and the rest continue to develop 06
Multiple reasons (even though I enjoy this game)-
1) it was rushed to hell and back
2) The team got divided in half because the wii port got turned into sonic and the secret rings due to the platforms being wildly different in terms of power capabilities
3) the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions were developed concurrently instead of developing for one and porting to the other, dividing the team even further, also making the PS3 version even worse, with longer load times and different glitches
4) although its ambition was super admirable, it helped make the vision of the game even more unfocused, which didn't help with time constraints
5) due to time constraints, beta testing was barely even a thing in this game and it shows
6) developing 9 different play styles for 9 different characters prob didn't help

All glitches in the first 3 minutes wouldn't happen more than once if you weren't deliberately trying to cause them, and you need to hold forward to go through loops in the adventure series & heroes, '06 just won't kill you for not making a mistake (though that clearly being a bug) but there's no defending the silver fight.

It has always been funny for me seeing people whining around glitches, but factually, glitches shown in this video were caused intentionally. 80% of those glitches ain't popping out if you play the game in right way, without glitch hunting

Finally found an adequate comment. I passed the game on the emulator and it was cool, I liked the game, I died from glitches only in the history of Silver, the game is not so bogged down that it is impassable, people find bugs behind their inability to play this game normally.

Despite all the glitches present in this game I was able to beat it..........twice. Honestly the only issues I encountered were the ones where you get stuck climbing walls and the snowboarding section derping out but that was it. Apart from those I was very lucky.

I discovered another glitch in Radical Train. I was on my last life and had no rings. At the end of the level I missed the ramps and hit the train and died, but somehow I didn’t die and completed the level.
So glitches only happen in this game if you MAKE them happen by trying. Glad I knew why this game was bad.
