Fun factoids:
Morgen - Means "Morning" in Swedish/Norwegian.
AskSvin - Means "Ash Swine" in Swedish
If you're wondering why it's weird names on some creatures, it's mostly Swedish hard-translated names ^^

I use the lava blobs for mining. If you roll before it explodes it does no damage at all. Also, I’ve found an effective way to deal with morgens is luring them into a spike wall. Just grab a hammer to repair the spike and they will kill themselves trying to get to you.

If you build a stone wall with the hoe, the lava blobs can destroy it. The ashlands can penetrate any fortress

I've rewatched this. What I do not get is when you use the fire staff, the impact damage (blunt damage) is grey but when you later use the mace, it's white damage so are they or are they not resistant to blunt damage? that seems bugged. I hope they fix that.

Love your videos about ashlands, but regarding this one I think it'd be better to take off armor and show actual numbers without resistances.

also i noticed: there is actually a weapon that we can use that deals lightning damage and one that deals poison damage. you did not tried them though

I have been looking for videos talking about enemies weakness cuz before the Ashland beta was out I thought frostner would be THE mvp since it's blunt for skeleton and spirit for undead but no the blunt is grey which is weird
Yeah there were some weapons that I thought would be good, but it turned out they were weak lol.
Been playing the Ashlands and let me tell you those Valkyries are NOT to be messed with they absolutely destroy you

I must die alot. My main skills around around 45 going into Ashlands.
The number you see from Fire magic hitting the target is Blunt damage. Check the weapon.
Fire doesn't deal direct damage, only damage over time, and it never shows in different colors, so you need to compare the numbers.
Oh! Thanks for explaining that! I didn't get into the magic much in Mistlands. I like playing melee classes lol.
@@Maxxramus24 Now that you mentioned Mistlands, it hit me that 70 elemental skill is probably also a bit high, since you can only start leveling it after you reach Mistlands :D
@@RealPsojed Yeah I think you are right. I suppose if you really wanted to sit there and level up you could. Also, some players might have leveled that up over the last year and are waiting for Ashlands to release. I guess it depends on if you are playing fresh or not. =)
I saw what looked like a troll skeleton type enemy in the trailer, are they in the game yet?
from wha tive found you can summon them with a new staff, i dont know if they spawn on their own

Oh, maybe I was able to upgrade them only on the test branch. The forge went up to level 5, but maybe I accidently cheated on that.
