haha, this is an important preface. have been waiting for this finale part for so long and glad you made it !! i guess it will come down to the argument of everyone's own list : )
It's amazing how much your nephew looks like you and a girl at the same time ! I guess the men in your family all share those feminine features in the facial area ? I mean that second clip with your nephew playing the strat looks very very female but hey 🤷🏻♀️ whatever.
That's hilarious. I've been going down a White Lion rabbit hole for the last 3 months. My band is trying to break out some of there songs for our live show. Haven't thought about him in years and it seems like he is popping out everywhere again. He is a underrated GOAT
Vito (Pride) was part of the Holy Triumvirate in 1987 along with George Lynch (Back for the Attack) and Randy Rhoads (Tribute) who were on records that dropped that year that made fall in love with guitar.
@@RobertSmith-lg7jp Really happy to hear Robert! I do still struggle with solos as I consider myself rather as a rhythm player, but maybe one day I will get there!
Petition for part 4 with all George Lynch's solos from Under Lock and Key, Tooth and Nail and Back for the Attack. Heaven Sent should at least be here!
I thank you immensely for adding Wait. Vito is one of the best of all time but arguably the most underated. You did this solo justice, I can sleep happy. I cant remember if you did it or not but the solo to Inside Out - XYZ is another insane show of mastery of both hands. Your awesome!
Vito is up there with Eddie in my book (and Eddie is the best ever to me.) Wait is such a difficult solo to play yet it doesn't even sound like shredding or guitar wankery. It's Just a masterful display of melody.

Wait is my favorite solo of all time by a lightyear. White Lion is a religion to me and Vito is the priest. When I think of the perfect blend between shredding and tasteful melody, Vito is number 1 for me. There's not enough I can say about his music. A true inspiration.
Love the music or hate it, these solos are SCREAMING!!! Got some killer talent on display here. Thanks to all who contributed, and thanks to Mike for sharing the video!
Thank you for having me on this series! It was a huge privilege playing with all these amazing musicians, most of which I've been following for years. Carl and Ben have been my go-tos for my students lessons for many years!
Of all the solos you could've/should've done was When the Children Cry. Absolutely the best solo from Vito. It shows that you don't have to throw a sh*t ton of taps or pull-offs or sweeps to make a great solo. Truly the most underrated and under appreciated solos of all time.
Mike you nailed that wait solo! And thank you for the awesome 3 part collaboration the amount of time and commitment that went into this was amazing and you’ve inspired me to get better as a player ! Thanks again for all you do man you’re truly one of the best teachers and channels out there
Great video! Happy to see Bradley and mgrocki there too!. And uncle Ben, of course. You should get Leon Todd on board for the next one. Check out his channel!
That White Lion solo is INSANE. I wouldn't have the guts to even attempt it. But you nailed it. I don't even want to know how many hours it took practicing it to get to that point.
You are all great players and it's awesome that some one from a charting band would get in on this. It speaks to his character your abilities. Well done, everyone!
I was waiting (no pun intended) for White Lion to show up on this. Vito was, to me, so incredibly underappreciated for his guitar skills - so glad you did a shout out for him on this. Great list overall, a lot of memories on this one.
I have been told by others that guitar gods aren't around anymore. I laughed and said that couldn't be more from the truth, youtube is where they are all at. Great video.
That was awesome, thanks for doing the series it was great to watch and relive those amazing solos! Well done to everyone who played as well, you all nailed it!!
I'm SO fangirling over here! Some of these people are my friends and I coudn't be more proud! Kickass job by everyone!!!! Nice job on this series, it was an amazing job and a fun trip down memory lane. 🤩
Awesome stuff 😎. Marc Diglio, who played with the band XYZ, is (in my opinion) the most underrated 80’s shredder. His work on the ‘hungry’ album is just phenomenal 🤘🏼🎸.
When you showed a picture of this collaboration I saw someone in the thumbnail. I thought I seen the guy who works at Music Connection in one of the pictures sure enough it was him. That's pretty sweet.
Bravo to each guitarist! I really enjoyed this! Bet it was equally fun for everyone involved. And Vito Brada is an alien or something. His solos are so out there and unbelievably cool. You nailed it, BTW. That is freaking awesome.
Scorchio 🔥 So cool to see all these guitarists having fun, as it should be. Uncle Ben bringing the erotica with that guitar... Thank you for the series! A thrash metal one next?

FYI: I wasn’t the one who made the list. Just one I found online so… 🤣
can you do a video of top 10 autograph guitar solos
awesome. bonus points for the OG "Appetite for Destruction" cover.

You killed the "Wait" solo. Good job. Now I dare you to learn "Little Fighter". To me, that is one of the all time greatest solos ever.
Phenomenal. Vito doesn’t get near enough credit for his play because of the style of band he was in.
That's hilarious. I've been going down a White Lion rabbit hole for the last 3 months. My band is trying to break out some of there songs for our live show. Haven't thought about him in years and it seems like he is popping out everywhere again. He is a underrated GOAT
That’s one of if not my all time favorite. Great lead work on all their records but that solo is freakin chef’s kiss.
Vito (Pride) was part of the Holy Triumvirate in 1987 along with George Lynch (Back for the Attack) and Randy Rhoads (Tribute) who were on records that dropped that year that made fall in love with guitar.
Glam metal always had top notch musicianship. Vito should have been way bigger than he was/is
I was think also “broken heart” from Vito, what a jewel!
Thank you so much for the invite!!! It turned out so amazing! Great solos 🤩🤩🤩
loved seeing you on here, one of my favorites to watch beside mike
Your playing keeps getting better with every video . Great job.

I kept waiting for the Lynch solos as well!
If it ever happens, let me do Tooth and Nail
His tone on those albums was incredible even before we get to the riffs and solos. It makes my face scrunch up every time and look like an idiot haha
In My Dreams is the best Lynch solo to me. Sounds amazing.
Thank you for recognizing Vitto Bratta. His playing style was so clean and unique. He is definitely one of the overlooked greats from that era.
Cool to see "Carl Brown" make an appearance. I subscribe to him for long time.
The dude in the Ace mask looks like his stunt double from Kiss Meets the Phantom!
Yuuusss Mike🔥🔥🔥! Came out amazing! Thx again for having me! 🤘🤘🤘

Whitesnake here i go again i think its actually the 87' version
All the solos on Pride are unbelievable. Lady of the Valley is incredible. Good stuff dude!
Awesome to see you pass on your passion to your nephew.

Dude you nailed that “wait” solo !! Practically burned my face off!! Shred on my friend !!
what this video shows is the true musical genius of Vito Bratta. All the other solos are nothing compared to his.
Agree.
It has so much nuance and it's so sophisticated compared to the rest. Mike nailed all the little details. It's really hard to play.
Huge props for picking solos featuring two-guitar harmonies. A staple of the ‘80s hair metal guitar sound.
Vito bratta, my personal favorite! Weirdly underrated by a lot of people these days. Dude is absolutely phenomenal.
Little surprised how many PRS there were in this vid.
Absolutely killer, everyone nailed their parts.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed! Not that there is anything wrong with it, but for some reason I had the same thought (and I own a PRS).
