Abandoning Action figures that you love for “Disney Theme Park” history is never something I’ll remotely be able to relate to but I guess some people are wired different so do what makes you happy
It's good to collect a variety of collectibles, keeps things interesting. I myself am moving away from Hot Toys or toys in general because they degrade over time and take up way too much space... have fun and good luck!
Sorry to hear you are leaving the 1/6 hobby, but understand you gotta collect what you love the most. This hobby can def be a rabbit hole. I would just urge not to sell off too quickly. Keep the ones that mean a lot to you!
I'm sorry your wife is making you sell your Hot Toys collection and getting into a Disney, and Disneyland/Disney-world, autographs and a collection the family can enjoy. I hope everything works out.
I made the decision on my own My wife has always been supportive of what ever direction I decided to go with collecting Just shifting to the stuff I love even more than figures
This happens to allot of collectors, I'm into rifles now. Also, every hobby gets expensive at some point. It's not unusual for your tastes to change as you mature.
I was worried you were knocking it all the head. I can relate to people selling because they need money/moved and don't have space/sell so they can buy other stuff. If it's not one of them, you should always keep at least part of what you do because it's you; it's who you are. You are not a copy-paste person. You have hobbies, likes, passions and gained knowledge. With kids, more so young ones, when your time comes, they have something that is a connection to you; even if they don't keep all of it, they get a look into who you were (with luck, this is something we all live long enough to tell our kids) what made you happy and maybe they will venture into it. Some figure fans will question your choice of Disney stuff/rides, but at the same time, some Disney/ride fans would question having a room full of figures, so you will always have "But why?" people. Good luck with whatever you go with.
At the end of the day, the Disney, autographs and comic book stuff is a lot more of a representation of me than the figures That’s were my decision was based around
Will you not be keeping what you love the most out of your hot toys models? At least that way you do not have to try get them again later, in case you would regret it.
Hey great, you do you. Bad timing though with Desney being so divisive and expensive right now, but hey, you can star something new with the upcoming Epic .... Anyways, the real question is where can we find the hottoys you're selling ?! I mean you know to help out making some space for your new hobby....
16 minutes of my life I will never get back

A few will be staying but the majority will move on

Once I've packed them up, they will be going up on eBay and Mercari

It's died a horrible death. Painful for everyone
@@thedeadbatterydepot If you don’t like the new stuff ok but why does that impact your love for the old movies? Weirdo
@@malekith8447That's not what they're saying. Dead, making nothing good going forward. That has nothing to do with the classics.
Wrong. Especially episode 4-6 will never die.
@@grandiosa86 It survived nearly 50 years. These guys are just braindead
Your sadly mistaken if SW is dead😂, ROS made over a $1B 😂 , try again😂, good luck🎉
