He was her estranged husband. He broke into her residence to attack her. He looked up how to break in through the door with a crowbar. They didn't live together. So, I think she did leave him. He just followed.
What really sent chills up my spine was the fact that the wife herself said in a text that, if nothing should happen to her, the first person of interest is her own husband. Poor woman, tragic to know she didn’t leave in time 😢🥺
Some people do it because they want life insurance or to take full custody of the kids or something dealing with finance. Marriage doesn’t just come with love it comes with trust and sharing everything with that significant other. I guess in the end he got greedy and decided to murder the woman he apparently regretted marrying and he was willing to take everything that marriage came with

People keep saying she didn’t leave in time…. But I heard them say he was her ESTRANGED husband. So she did leave him and he (allegedly) broke into her residence and killed her.
They don’t start out not being able to stand each other. Once you get in the relationship, their true colors start to show. I had a significant other that became a nut job right after I moved in with him. It was exactly like the movie Sleeping With The Enemy. He had a fragile ego like this guy likely does. To someone like that, someone not wanting to be with them is unacceptable to them. Their identity and self-confidence is in part, if not fully, attached to the object of their affect.
I wouldn't read too much into this. The show always asks questions with the full intent on getting answers like that. Especially since the clips always end up going viral.
The 14 bullets indicate a crime of passion, so must be someone she knew well aka her estranged husband. I hope they have the death penalty there. Condolences to her family and children.
Not even the Family Feud host Steve Harvey trusted him. Steve looked at him as if he knew he was off. That's why Steve did not even joke around with him and just gave him a very neutral look emotionless look.

No you don't, because, no one does anything to 'drive' a person to do something like that. A killer is a killer. If it hadn't been his wife it would be someone else at some point. STOP placing blame on the victim for crying out loud, and place blame where blame belongs!!

No normal human being will want to deal with you with your insane trust issues. You lack any intuition if you’re that worried about being exclusive. I feel sorry for anyone with such low self esteem to get in a relationship with you
Many different reasons. I've had family who were in such circumstances. It can be guilt that their spouse's violence is their fault, and if they're nicer to their spouse, they won't be violent anymore. There's also the guilt of leaving, maybe you feel like you're the one responsible for your spouse's wellbeing and by leaving you're the one at fault for giving up. Then there's also the fear of getting caught leaving. Maybe the spouse rarely affords you the opportunity to slip out of sight, and if you make a run for it, they might find you as you leave, or even track you down. Then there's also denial, denial that your spouse may actually go through with their words, or that the situation is really that serious...their behavior might even be mistaken by the victim to be normal, as if that's how everybody would react in the same situation. So there's a number of reasons, and sometimes the realization of how serious things were, only comes after leaving.
Resort to the lottery next time if you care solely about funding yourself. If you only want the money for yourself, then you have no business getting onto a game show that requires you to work as a team to earn the big jackpot.

Leaving an abusive partner is the most dangerous part of the abuse cycle. It's when the abuser is most likely to take lethal action.

Very true, but I still think he’s guilty based on what was stated during the hearings so far.
