Thanks for the knot lesson. This is the first time my granddaughter beat be watching a fishing video.

Bill, you’ll catch heat forever! My youngest never lets me forget “losing” his “catfish”...it was a mudfish and I lost it intentionally when dehooking! My two older boys remind me of losing “their” Chesapeake blue fish when the hook broke...that was in 1988!

After learning how to tie the knot I will never go back to the clinch or fisherman’s knot, the knot is so much faster to tie and it’s a lot stronger than the clinch. I 💘LOVE💖the first knot you showed! IT's far easier than the knot I have been using to tie my hooks with! Every year, I'd have to re-watch a video to relearn to snell my leaders. That knot's so easy, even I can remember how to tie it.

I'm just curious what is your three favorite crappie / Bass / catfish rods. And great knot video. My favorite is the polymer knot.

The Palomar has to be the best knit hands down . Bass and crappie I really do like the Fenwick rods for both a little pricey but great quality . Catfishing rods the MOJO cats the best. It's made in America . But I like whiskerseekers rods and I'm wanting to check out the new Hellcat , I think it might be a rod I like

Uni knots are good but they are 90% of your like strength , Palomar knots and clinch knots are 96%
