Ron explained that he was very pissed when he got hit, and immediately beat up the dude when he saw him wave his hands in the air and yell "you did it!" So the dude lost 50$, and got beat up in the process.

I've been an NBA fan for 30 years. There's plenty to criticize about the league. There are players you don't like for various reasons. All that's fair enough but disrespecting players and acting like those morons did disqualifies them from being called a "fan". Period!

Players need a thick skin. I have always had three rules on heckling. First, never get racial. Second-never go after their family. Third-never cuss. Anything else is fair game. Guy get busted for drugs? Tell him to keep his nose off the third base line. Guy is in a shooting slump? Tell him you are tracking his slump and am betting the under on the number of shots he will miss because he looks like a mason, not a shooter. And if it gets them riled up, you have done your job as a fan. You have distracted them from concentrating on the game. They may say that you are "disrespecting" them. That may be true, but pay me millions of dollars to be "disrespected" and I will ignore you. Which is the way the pros handle it.
