Hiking Mount Keen and wild camping by the River Tanar

  • A hike to the top of Mount Keen, a 939m high mountain in Scotland and the most easterly Munro. Starting from Aboyne in Deeside, Aberdeenshire, I pass through the Glen Tanar Estate and begin the ascent from Glen Tanar. I have lunch in the halfway hut and have an overnight camp by the River Tanar.
    My 11th munro.

    Glen Tanar Estate looks nice mate i will need to go there one day lol

      It is definetely worth it, just a pity I'm no good at fires
