They are getting harder and harder to find in the Midwest (Michigan) Also, finding candied peel is hard to find this time of year. I’ll have to buy it at Christmas time and store it until Easter. Thank you for all you do!
@@nancygross7895 I believe the brand you usually find in American grocery stores is called Paradise. But there are much higher quality brands out there. It really just depends how much money you're willing to spend. 😅 You can probably find some high quality European brands on Amazon.
I live in deep south Texas and hot cross buns are readily available around this particular time of year at our local supermarket. I usually make them every year for my parents but was unable to this year. We love a good portion of spice so I'm certain we will love these and I will be baking them tomorrow!
What a wonderful recipe! I will bake it this Easter season. I just love your channel. Please keep making excellent content.
Thank you so much 💓 Enjoy the buns!

Thank you 🥰 You're welcome! It might be a tad bit pricier than the grocery store, but you can usually find candied peel on Amazon.
@@BakeAcrossEurope ohhhh, good to know! I didn’t think of that, but of course you’re right! Is there a brand you recommend?

Thank you Kristin, I learnt about the hot cross buns during my studies but I have never seen how they are made. They look delicious.
I was surprised how delicious they were!

I've not made hot cross buns for ages. off to go and bake. And also the overlap on our cookbook shelves, on some fairly niche books!
Enjoy the recipe! I'd love to hear which cookbooks we share!
