As far as I know, 343 isn’t the kind of company that does that. I mean, 343 at least seems to enjoy showing off community stuff. They at least don’t outwardly act like Nintendo for example.

Finally another halo spinoff, for the second time in 15 years.
Well... actually HW2 wasn't the only spinoff in 15 years, there was also Spartan Strike, Spartan Assault, and Fireteam Raven, so there have technically been 4 Spinoffs under 343. So 343 have technically made more spinoffs than Bungie. But, yeah, HW2 was the only good one within that time.

Your kinda just trying to find a new excuse to hate the company. Accept that they will NEVER be removed. There's no point in crying about "Ohhh they're terrible" because that won't do anything. All that's going to do is make you sound like a cry baby that values video games over a entire life. Go outside. You need it. We all do. 343 won't be removed, and they won't be replaced. Its hopeless to keep complaining them without proper criticism.
@@Ghostman223fun fact, they're only greedy about the shop (raising prices) because it was a compromise the devs had to make to appease the suits so they could add crosscore, it's less the fault of 343, and more the fault of microsoft's suits

You're literally one of those guys who heard someone else say that 343 is bad and you believed them without even hearing their arguments.
343 has some problems but getting angry at their fans for creating content is not one of them, in fact they even beg the community to do them and allowed them to profit from it as long as you don't have copy-paste models of the game.

It's nice to see fans expanding Halo, I hope MS is clever enough to hire such talent, for Halo in the beginning was Xbox. Without Halo, Xbox would not have left the ground vack in 2001.
Halo was like the only game my brother and I played for the first 6 months of the original Xbox launch.
@@Edithae I have a bunch of students who religiously play Halo every day in my computer lab. I have a bunch of Xbox 360's hooked up with Reach, Halo 4 and Halo 3.
From what I see it seems that neither MS nor 343 want to hire these fans and it actually seems it's for a good reason, since they usually are able to keep their games with which they make money from and they do not have a date that forces them to work harder and faster.

Imagine if there was a lethal company style Halo game where you play as the covenant having to retrieve Forerunner artifacts. But the Flood are in these areas with more gruesome flood types we've never seen or seen in concept.

I actually love the idea of this potentially involving spirit of fire, Halo Wars 1 would be the perfect setting for a true flood, survival-horror without drastically altering lore

Why not make Branching Sickness about an ODST? ODSTs are incredibly under represented in the Halo unniverse right now, and over the past 13 years of Halo.
There was an entire video game from bungie called Halo 3 ODST, they received one of the most attention in Halo history, more than playing as the covenant. Not sure I understand your comment. I would be more interested in a Marine only story as they have always been ignored and never truly given their own video game / user / player campaign experience.
@@LucinaRukina “over the past 13 years of Halo”. To my knowledge, ODST came out in 2008, that’s 16 years ago. I’m talking about how they’re underrepresented in 343s lore. They’ve basically been replaced by Spartan-IVs. Now that the IVs have basically gone extinct, ODSTs are perfect to bring into the games, or make a fan made game about them now.
@@LucinaRukina marines have made an appearance in literally every Halo game. They are far more well known than ODSTs.
@@ChefandTheArbistor ODST had a full video game, custom sound track, voice actors, took place in Nairobi Kenya ( My home town ) and marines were merely NPCs. ODST is part of the MCC, there is no Halo 3 Marine video game.
@@LucinaRukina didn’t it take place in New Mombasa? Also, many people didn’t play ODST. It was essentially DLC sold for $70. Reviewer criticized it heavily for being too short. Marines, on the other hand, have been in every game. Serving a prominent role in each one. Chipps Dubbo, Johnson, Sgt. Stacker, all marines who were heavily featured in nearly all the games. ODSTs have been in 4 games, and in 3 of those only in 1 or 2 missions.

Wow, I know many were worried Halo in Unreal Engine would not be able to have that Halo movement, but the Branching Sickness team made it look really close to the classic movement. Now how it feels while playing will be important. I do hope they get weapon models sizes proportional, since marines are much smaller than Spartans and many weapons even human ones are huge in marines hands. 😅 It will be very interesting to compare this fan made game and 343's alleged next Halo project if both are in Unreal Engine.
Also with more covenant style coatings (Ultra, Major, and needler like one) have been data mined I wonder if they will tie into season 6 being covenant themed? Lets get some skins for the covenant vehicles and weapons as well.

Man I've discussed for a few years a flood based horror game. Playing through the events of a none-cannon outbreak on a human colony changing between different characters from civilian to odst as the colony gets overwhelmed and ending it as a Spartan containment team sent in to extract data, purge the colony's A.I then glassing the world.
Had an idea for a 4 player co-op one involving reacue of HTVs, data extraction, containiment or torch and burns for missions. A player dying could result in corruptor being implemented as your now made to hunt down and kill you're former squad member with their goal being to infect the rest of the team or escape.
Wow another Halo fan game that will never release… I’ll remain skeptical until I see an actual mission or gameplay that isn’t just them moving around a textureless map.

I still hate it that they refer us as "Spartans" I'm a player, and even more so an "Elite Player". Still that being said, I'm excited for the future~!

- They did Ui changes to the main menu in s5, it displays challenges now, and I believe the store supports more bundles now
- S6 will likely release in Jan 30th when the operation ends because remember the free S5 pass already expired and there are no more capstones in the backend. Hopefully we'll get marketing for the next season in 2 more weeks
Microsoft needs to invest more into its most popular IP. We should see more than just one mainline game every 4-5 years. We need more side halo games… flood horror game… arbiter campaign, or some sort of sanghelli centered game… so many possibilities, but it’s all wasted on master chief games and halo wars.

one problem i have with the game, is that none of the weapons are to scale, maybe they will fix this but the covent weapons are much larger in a marines hand

This and the noble 6 ghosts of reach gives me an idea. Imagine a sequel to Halo reach in the style of Halo Infinite. It would begin with noble 6(you) fighting the covenant like in the end of Halo Reach then open up to an open world of reach as you fight to survive and escape of the planet before it is completely destroyed by the covenant. you would have the same customization that you do in Halo reach. You could also save marines and/or civilians. You could go back to some of the other noble’s death scenes. I think it would be cool

Year 10 still waiting for a new invasion mode! I love horror games but if they really want to expand out 4 player co-op survival would be amazing your a squad of odst (so you’re not op) could be more players but you’re trying to survive on a glass planet with the flood a left behind covenant

I get it is WIP and all, but I see that they're going for the Halo 3/Reach UI. They should honestly give it a sickly green hue so the menu has a foreboding atmosphere to it, given the whole Flood theme!

They just need a flood mode in each game. Some open world flood mode like cod zombies outbreak. Halo desperately needs PVE to grind battle passes.

The community shouldnt have to make there own spin-off, especially one we have been asking for, for years. Shows that 343 haven't been doing their jobs, one of which is to listen to the consumers. Cant wait for this.
I'm guessing we are following into another halo drought considering all you guys aren't focusing on infinite for the time being, darn, things were just starting to get good 😩, if they really cared about infinite they'd add retro enemies to firefight, add maps from the other halos and make us relive covenant battles, or add the flood and make us survive the flood in a flood firefight.
Still don't quite understand how a AAA studio had issues with something like the UI. There are previous titles that could have been used and they are easy and simple.
Hey, I just got Infinite and I'm wondering about the Winter Update pass. It doesn't seem to be available and there's a lot of good stuff but I can't access it and I really just want the CQC helmet. I bought Heroes of Reach so I can settle for Recon or MK7 but it's just not the same. Do i need to by Lone Wolves too or is it just not available at all at this time?

for something very similar i recommend left for dead 2 there are hundreds of halo mods ranging from h ce to halo infinite

That screenshot looks extremely bare bones, and it doesn't look like any actual mechanics are even in the build yet. So, mark my words, we'll never see anything substantial out of that project, these always fall through (assuming the devs even actually committed to making one of these). Not even trying to be pessimistic, simply realistic. I really WISH one of these ended up coming out as something great.
343i needs to watch and learn there are so many side games That the Halo Universe has to offer.
