I have no words….Your info just comes so close to my heart…To hear from someone who really and truly understands is almost overwhelming….Thankyou….and please keep on sharing….we need it…
thank you so much! as you said i am a type A personality and was a bodybuilder a while back, before this happened to me.Last year i was beggining to feel better ,started to push myself and around october last year i had a bad crash in form of G.I problems and that hit me hard.I was forcing myself to work hard , and this is what i wasnt understanding , recovery take time and its different to everyone
Thank you for another great podcast. This is a topic close to my heart. Sport and exercise was a big part of my everyday life prior to getting sick. In the first few months I really kept pushing and pushing to maintain my fitness because I didn’t want to lose it but it just had disastrous consequences. Over a year and a half later, I have gone the other way. I have found my baseline and i almost feel scared to increase my movement levels in case my symptoms come back with vengeance. Today’s podcast has given me lots of food for thought on how I can move forward in this area and start to get back to some exercise which was a part of my life that I loved.
I loved to exersise like boxing combat etc and God told me yesterdy go back to the daily tasks, and do only low cardio sport like barre class, or weigt with dubbels or insanity pulls or recover y day, i'm in stage 2 now, i recoverd from stage 1, i also crash al the time so this is helpfull
Thank you for sharing your expertise with us. It’s helpful as I am recovering from long Covid-CFS. I think I’m at stage 2. I’m pushing because I feel better at baseline, but don’t know the endpoint before crashing. So I’m learning through your videos and others.
This is how it was for me in the beginning 6 years ago. I believe in everything you say because what you said about Stage 1 is what I had to do. I believe in the power of our breath and movement. In the beginning I couldn’t even deep breath my lungs and stomach muscles felt like they were full of glass so I had to step for 12 months or so to shallow breathing and it was amazing how my lung and stomach muscles began to regenerate but it wasn’t an over night thing. 12 months later I felt it was time to start deep breathing but only for 5mins a day but then I knew I was on my way. Another 12 months went by and I felt it was time for more movement and I was lucky enough to find a Daily 10 minute Routine that targeted every muscle of body and incorporated my breath into each movement, I also started to do press-ups on my knees twice a week and stretching down to my toes everyday plus half sit-ups that was 5 years ago and I’m still building my stamina day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year by year🙏 I am Truly Grateful to You Toby as you have always been a guiding voice in my ear giving me my next direction to follow, through your videos or giving me the comfort that I am on the right path to Healing 🙏
SO good Toby . Cannot say how much this helped me. Strength over cardio ! YES ! Always trying to do walking and does not ever work. now building up the strength first. And it helps move the lymph system too right. TY for sharing for free 🤎🤎🙏 Helping me so much for where I am at right now.
Toby what do you recommend if you’re fully bedbound but feel a bit better? How to incorporate movement around the house again? Whenever I try it it’s too much. Or am I not felling better enough to do so? Doing yoga and breathing for 1-2 years now, bedbound for 1.
I like rebounding. I was up to 10 minutes a day but a lot has happened and not doing it anymore. I'm hoping to start 5 minutes a day again. We had a flood in our house and hoping to have space to do it. I've heard rebounding helps recharge the body with energy. Like charging a battery. I was getting more energy then.

a 25min video that could easily be compressed in a 5min format if there was a bit more structure
Really humble good looking bloke
