Anyone notice that run he did from the "bet you can't do this" ? Was a Randy Rhoads run from his live spotlight solo in the middle of Suicide Solution off the Randy Rhoads Tribute Album .Lol not even close to Randy's part Doug .but honestly I'm just playing wit you man I think your a awesome player and I kno like myself you were a HUGE Randy Rhoads fan and was greatly influenced and inspired from his music.
I'd much rather see Doug put his own band together than see him with the Daisies. I'd like to see him form a band where he writes what allows Doug to be Doug. He's been in bands that gave him that platform, but I'd like to see him take that farther the way Jake E Lee did with Badlands. Time is wasting!
I was so bummed when Revolution Saints project came tumbling down..... Granted that's not a band that he started himself either.. but It's so much more true to "him" and his style than the Dead Daisies. Whenever I've spoken to him in person... I just talk positive stuff... But man!! do I hate that Daisies shit for him.
I agree Aldo. The Daisies do not need anyone of Doug's caliber and Doug doesn't have the platform to be Doug in that band. I've never met him, but I definitely appreciate the way he plays guitar. Revolution Saints really allowed him to tear it up while still playing plenty of melodies within the flash. Great guitar sound there too.
I so agree! As Doug says of his hero Jimmy Page, he too is the whole package as a player. He doesn't need to be stifled as somebody's side man, or the "2nd" lead guitar anymore. Hope he goes for it. ...And glad you said that about Jake E Lee n Badlands. I hate that a cat as talented as Ray Gillen was, that he passed away so young. With all the 80's regurgitated, clones of Dave Roth and EVH combo's, I truly thought that Jake n Ray were the real deal. They were amazing together.
@@syarbrough8510 It seems that people forget the financial side of forming your own band & putting out a record & then the expense of touring. Sometimes a steady check as a sideman isn't such a bad thing. Vai used the money he made wth Roth & Whitesnake to build his studio so he could record the he wanted to make. His prior bands weren't successful enough to play to crowds like he did wirh Roth & Snake
Thumbs up to Doug for keeping it professional, cool and collected.
Never met Doug but everytime I see a vid, he acts the same. Cool guy.
He seems like a really nice dude.

I liked him the best with Dio, great guitarist.
right after Doug Aldrich had left the stage, he was like "what the hell was that? Do I really have to do this??!?!" :-D
He is where he is, simply because he's fucking good.

Holy dead Daisy! Doug Aldrich is as fine as he was on my Metal Edge glossy when he was with Hurricane. Meeeeeoow.

That's a lot of blonde hair all on the same stage, lol
They’re so turned on by being near him and he’s so oblivious and uninterested.
With time you get desensitized to women in general when they chase for your attention constantly.
Might be because he's been married for a long time lol
Yeah!! the 2 gals said we show you how to have fun!!!

She reaches to tap his knee, "you're live, right?" I thought she was reaching further up! Got some popcorn, ready for the show, but she stopped...
She had to touch him twice.
