When tumor cells show up, they can mess with the SSB proteins, making them unable to do their job properly. It's like the troublemakers distracting the repair workers so they can't fix things correctly. This can lead to more problems and make it harder for your body to stay healthy .
When tumor cells show up, they can produce substances that mess with the SSB proteins. These substances make it hard for the SSB proteins to do their important job of fixing mistakes in the body's instructions (DNA). So, because the SSB proteins are busy dealing with the trouble caused by the tumor cells, they can't do their usual job of keeping the body healthy. It's like the tumor cells are bullies that distract the SSB proteins from their important work.
