It's like the designer spring loaded the locking levers, and removed the spring loading from the locking bar. A neat way to really mess with your head.
As a puzzle, it is very clever. As a lock, it isn't so clever anymore. The more you know about locks, the easier it gets. You should send a copy to Lock Picking Lawyer to see what he says. 🤣
I've kinda wanted to see someone either send either lockpicking lawyer a lock truly stuck shut as an April fools joke, or one of these puzzle guys a plain chunk of wood and tell them it's a puzzle box lol
I remember watching you back in high school! I've been looking for you ever since, how wonderful to see that you're still making content! I'm glad to have found you again!
I like puzzles that are easy once you know the trick, but for this trick lock it seems like you would have a hard time of opening it if it was affixed to a door
I thought maybe to push the key in deeper or compress the shackle in farther. I bet the very first solution to the very first ever puzzle was to hit it.
So, the creator took a spring out of the lock and called it a puzzle? That's not a puzzle. It's a broken lock. I have an antique padlock I have to bang because the spring is broken. I am not impressed with this so-called puzzle at all.

"How do you know is going to be easy-peasy?" "Simple, it's a lock."

Well.. he did open it twice, to prove it wasn't a fluke.
He would show that you can actually do the same with a masterlock
I will admit that I was wondering what LPL would say, and how quickly he might be able to identify the modification that was done to the lock. :P

a bit anticlimactic but I like the simplicity of the concept and the creator's boldness to go with it
Fantastic video👌 and I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself this time 😊
If the solution was spinning, it would make it pretty much impossible to open the lock once you attach it to something.
Sneaky, all the levers were open and only friction lever kept it locked. Great puzzle to cause anxiety ❤
Seems a bit cruel to make a puzzle that requires banging it heavy and metallic. I guess you can bash it against something other your hand.

I'm thinking from the start: Put the key in the position where it made something move, and then start spinning or tapping it.
Liked it! It's a very smart way to make a lock pick resistant.
It was so easy it baffled the hell out of you lmao
It had you stumped for a bit so I like it. :)
Like there is definitely a Mr puzzle in another universe who solved it in two seconds…
The door : Shutter or Shroud :)
I've never got a puzzle but I can find what I like here
Easier than the giraffe puzzle!🦒
What you are calling "layers" are called "Levers".. this is a Lever-Lock :)

Happy holidays!
First I was thinking spin it or hit it. Fun puzzle lock.
Send to Lockpickinglawyer as challenge lol. He'll figue it out in 10 seconds or less.
congrats to the winner and nice puzzle!
With it being called easy peats I was expecting you to have to squeeze the sides out something along those lines
Lemon squeezy
By the time you opened the box LPL would have disassembled the whole lock and gutted it out to explain all the components 🤣🤣🤣
I thought maybe to push the key in deeper or compress the shackle in farther.

There are several real 'locks' that open in this exact manner.

No reference to LockPickingLawyer... What a wasted chance.
Dang i still didn't win a puzzle... i will win a puzzle one day thats my ninja way!
Incredibly anticlimactic
I think it's from Germany and not from Sweden?
Same thing?😂 jokes
At least the package came from Sweden 😁
Old school lameness
Fan of you, not a fan of this puzzle. Seems like a cop out.... Keep on Puzzling!!!
Don't like it. Bump puzzle is not a puzzle really
😮😮😮😮😮
Bad puzzle. Bad lock. All around fail. Why even have a stand to show this thing off?
Where's LockPickingLawyer for an explanation?!
