When my future wife and I first moved in together, we were broke, so we had to make up our own entertainment. Terry invented a game where we would use a dictionary to find a good word, then offer two true, and one false definition for that word we made up on-the-spot. The other person would attempt to guess which meanings were true, and which was false. Then, we'd swap roles. and the other person would find the next word to play. Alyssa seems to have a similar personality to Terry in that regard. Even just how she made up a list of things to do to pass the time echos something Terry would have done back in the day. This video brought back some sweet memories for me, thank you both - It has been fun. I can't wait for Sarah's video from this trip! Thanks, Alyssa!
I discovered your channel through Seerasan's channel and enjoyed every single video I watched! I started watching these because I aim to visit Japan for the first time this December and wasn't sure what to expect. I got tired of watching top places kind of videos so I discovered people like yourselves that provide the right content; plus, it's nice to see another American's perspective living there as a foreigner. The other option is maybe go in April for my birthday month, not set in stone yet, but keeping my options open. Thanks for providing amazing content, it's always a hoot watching you and Seerasan filming together! 😊
Enjoying your vids, and your friendship with Sarah. I'm a bit older than you, however, this reminds me of my past years when I traveled with friends for the company and the destination. I love to see how you are enjoying yourselves. Keep it up!
Haha 8 hours wow, way to go making it through with your list, company you have helps! Also can't help but notice your resemblance to Brit Marling and Emma Roberts, so pretty! Safe travels 😊
Thank you for your video - interesting to see your perspective after watching Sarah's video. Okay, so I was inspired to write a poem about trains, and I did. I'm a little embarrassed to share it, but I will (partly to demonstrate the difference between AI generated art and real human art): My wings as I fly away, Tied to the ground by iron. Bound by rail, with unbound dreams, I can only see the places I can be. With the collar of time, imposed by powers that don't see, and to them I am a ticket, but today I fly away. Only so far one can fly in a day. I get to see the world which meets me half-way. - The Cleeze
In Japan's embrace, where cherry blossoms play, Lyssa and Sarah found love's clandestine way. A dance of whispers, beneath the moon's glow, Their hearts entwined, a secret they'd never show.
As I commented on @seerasan video - Doing trips like this with friends sounds like a lot of fun! 🎉 I had the chance to experience the Trans-Siberian Railway many years ago, and having good friends by my side made it anything but boring. I'm already looking forward to gathering some friends and enjoying this trip sometime! 🚂😄
One of the few people I’d be down to make this journey with! Would love to do it together again soon! 😂
Hahaha very true! Would love to do it again soon! ❤
Alyssa your poem about the trains was so much better than the ai
Thank you so much! Glad to know some one appreciated it! Haha
Your poem over Chat GPT definitely.
Thank you!!

That’s a sweet story! Yeah I love word games a lot and grew up playing them with my family!
Alyssa's poem is pure art, seriously: creative yet realistic, moving AND dark
I’m glad to see you understand true art!!

Great train trip.
On train we all talk to Seerasan, no 1 activity 1XXXXXXXX ..aHa , maybe not always and maybe not always available.
How Sarah an Aussie struggled with L and H when she could have named two famous aussies. Liam Hemsworth and Heath Ledger 😂
Hahah two aussie greats!
Your poem was way better.
Trains and Plains and Automobiles lol
Screw it. I’ll just take the Shinkansen 😂
