I’m glad to see you weren’t isekai’d by that van! It’s always a pleasure to see you two together in a vlog. I’ve never been to that part of Mt. Fuji, but those glamping tents look like a lot of fun. Since you two are big anime fans, I thought maybe you two would like to know that Reol is selling concert tickets right now for her performance in Yokohama on 9 November 2025. Anyways, thank you for the video and your recommendations for your top 20 foods! Phantom Siita, a group produced by Ado, are also selling tickets right now for a performance this year on 11/1. A bit closer to probably where you all are based out of performing at Tokyo Budokan.
Holy crap that scream from Sarah jump scared me big time LOL. As someone also born in Australia, I can't stand spiders, bugs etc. Awesome video Lyssa. Those egg pods look so cozy on the inside 👍😃
It's interesting to see the "Woman Only" seats on the bus. How many of them are there, and how are they positioned throughout the bus? I haven't seen this before! Your trip looked fun; the yurts/domes are so cool!
So woman’s only sections are pretty common in Japan. They have whole train cars that are woman only. For this bus there were only 8 seats total that were woman only. They were towards the front of the bus and all together!
I get the impression you would enjoy the Izu Panorama Park [and rope way]. It's about an hour from Atami by either train or car, but on a clear day you will have photos your friends will be jealous of.
One thing about (most) Australians: when you grow up with every crawling thing being capable of killing you, it doesn't desensitise you to spiders and bugs; it makes you *hyper-aware* of them, and gives you an ingrained self-preservation reaction 🤣
This video feels like when you and your friend have a camcorder in highschool on the holidays and are just messing around having a good time ❤
Just finished watching Sarah's glamping video, so I had to come watch yours, as well. It's always fun to see you two together 🙂.
When you and Sarah are in a video, it's always a win 😁 Awesome
So glad I found your channel. You and Sarah make great content together.
Please do more videos with Sarah. When together you are so fun to watch. ❤

So happy Sarah pointed out your channel in her video of this trip - immediately subscribed and now going to binge watch your other videos!
Kawaguchi area is really awesome during autumn.

The yakiniku looked good! And the Frieren rant lmao. So true tho.
Maybe one day I shall unleash my Frieren rant upon the world!
Great Video it's always nice to see you and Sarah together.
The background music matched the nice and relaxed tone of your video really well. Lovely video, thanks for it!

Lhasa I love your videos so much. You’re just so funny and fun to watch ❤
Ngl, I was really interested in what that "American" diner had to offer. It looked like a fun little spot.
Same! 🤣🤣 I assume their attempt at stereotypical American food.
Great video, you're always so funny Alyssa! Thanks for the awesome content, keep up the great work!
i love the music you use!!
What a beautiful vlog, felt like I was watching a Ghibli film.
You are my favourite American, you crack me up 😂 Love from Australia 🇦🇺

Oi! As an English person who tans very well I'm pretty offended by that! Next you're gonna have a go at our wonky teeth! 😂😂😂
No shots of the bus ride from Shinjuku to Kawaguchi lake city... I loved it ;)

My family's burial plot is in a cemetery at the base of Mt. Fuji. It's very pretty in sakura season. :)
Yooo, burnt marshmallows is the way. No issues from what I can see.
Hi from 25 years in the future
It's never the spiders you can see that you have to worry about.
9:12 No, please rant. More people need to watch Frieren. It’s good stuff.
The most elegant hostel in the world.... usually hostels look more... dingy & dark
I had to laugh at your fear of being abducted- surely, you and Sarah were the biggest women, and possibly the biggest people, in that little town?
Wow, bit of unnecessary dig on us English people and our tanning. :(
