This was my first video viewing, and I was having an anxiety attack watching color to color. Wow, I am so impressed since my heart has calmed. I am hooked.
I will have to look into it!! The surf prep has helped a lot but believe it or not riding a bike aggravates it because of my position on the handle bars, random I know!
@@BellaRenovare I didn’t even know I had it, went to hand doctor for injured finger and mentioned how my hands were numb a lot! My doctor is semi-retired and has done over 3000 of these surgeries so I think that’s why it was so easy. He went in at the crease right where my hand and wrist meet and you can’t even see the scar. And also, I want to mention, I love your work and style. I’ve been so inspired by you to not be afraid to go bold with color. And even more so, thank you for your service as a military family. ❤️
I think you achieved what you set out to do my lovely which was to bring it to life and for everyone to see the beauty in the details ....gorgeous job xxxx
I love watching "trust the process" paint finishes. It's like watching a flower bloom in slow motion. This turned out beautiful. Not long ago I began researching ceruse finishes and was super excited when you started doing them. It's such a cool technique.
I didn't know where you were going with the lime green and then the purple. I thought it was going to be awful. Boy was I wrong. Turned out beautiful. Well done. Thanks for sharing.
I could totally see this on board of a traveling gypsy wagon! I don’t know why sometimes I am not a fan of this technique and other times ( like this!) I just LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Maybe it’s the colors that are used is what makes it for me. I know one thing, when you get moved to Maine and have your place all put together, I hope you will do a video tour for us! Love ya girl!
When you started...I thought 'O my Lord, what is she doing!?!? Now I absolutely LOVE it!! So original and creative!!! ❤❤❤❤❤ Thanks for showing that!! I am inspired 😍
I thought at first and in the middle I'm not so sure about this ... I thought I'm going to hate it, but I love it. I don't think very many people would be able to take all the colors that seem way out there and think of them being good together. I probably would have picked darker colors of what you did trying to achieve this and it would turn out too dark. I don't have the sight to see how it would look, but I'm good at watching UA-cam and copying others. Thank you for teaching me and everyone else ❤
When you pulled out the colors, I was thinking it wasn’t really my taste. BUT to see the results, it’s so beautiful. I’d totally have this in my home. You are such a talent. Love your videos!
You kept saying trust the process and I wasn’t but you finally won me over at the end. Granted not my cup of tea however my daughter would love it. It’s beautiful
Absolutely one of the BEST videos I've seen. Thank you so much for an amazing and easy to follow video. Not to mention, you got straight to the point without half the video being rambling about pointless crap like 99% of the videos out there. OMG. Beautiful work.
I love when you say "trust in the process" because it means something incredible is going to happen. You never let me down so I always trust you and the process. Another work of art was the result here. I know some may not like the bright colors😎 or even like painting over the wood😱. Oh well. You have to do what makes your customer happy and here you were the customer. I think it's beautifully done. Thanks for sharing and showing us this technique. You rock!
Love your videos..you are such a talent, and so adventurious. Will have to say, my initial viewing was curiosity only. But now am a follower.I'm 82 years old, have a fondness for early attic decor, and would never have painted anything that could have been saved otherwise. Have done much stripping of paint and bringing back to origional in my day. But I have to say, I may be a convert. I absolutely love your work, and if I had room, would love to have a statement piece! Paint on sweetie! Color is great!
Thank you so much Peggy. I will tell you a few things that I think set me apart from others. I am a woodworker so I appreciate the furniture. I use color theory and art principles on my pieces so I treat each piece like it is my canvas. I always want to do justice to the furniture and create something that is art. I know it may seem a little dramatic but I never want to just paint something to slap paint on it you know??? Thank you so much for your kindness!!
I love painting furniture and giving it a new life! I feel bad you have to keep explaining to people it's a piece you are keeping. Even if you weren't, there are millions of us who loved painted pieces!
So weird! I'm picking up a parquet topped console table tomorrow and had no idea what to do with it creatively! Serendipity ☺ I name this piece Venus emerging from the sea...I immediately saw the painting in my head when I saw the final shots of the completed piece. Mastery my friend..pure mastery.
What an exciting piece to have in your house! Love this. Unfortunately, I don’t live around people who appreciate color in their homes. Boring. But not in my space, this would fit right in.🤗👍🏻
Another awesome piece Crys'Dawna!! You are so confident with the bold colors and everytime they come together flawlessly. One day I will have the guts to try color! 🤣🤣 I own the paint I just need to get it out of the jar. Thank you for all that you do it is very much appreciated. Maybe when your in Maine I will take a road trip from NY and do a color boot camp! LOL! Have a great weekend!
Hi from South Africa Crys Dawna. This is by far the most beautiful piece that you have produced. I have saved it and I shall try it when I find the right piece. Thank you for sharing your artistry and work.
Yeah you are looking great you are definitely stepping into your light artistically spiritual and personal keep on keeping on Crys' Dawna love from South Ayrshire Scotland it's amazing to watch you grow and transform xxx
So I have a very classic taste in furniture and I typically prefer restoring antiques to their original state over modernization but I actually really like this! I think it could look really fun in a beach bungalow type home.
Fun-tastic ! At 8:22 white wash and 21:22 wash, did u more than buff as its way more blonde at end 🤔 or did u sand or use solvent to get down all that white. Thanks
I was cringing at the thought of painting this lovely piece, but you won me over with the white waxed top. LOVE the colors. And (always) the gold gilding. Stunning results.
I have collected antiques for years, my initial instinct was to keep them as is. UNTIL I started watching your channel. This piece is just amazing, I love the colors, and you are a master at blending and vision. I love your choices, it's inspired me to go for an eclectic look in my victorian home vs traditionally old furniture in an old house. I am SO ready to add some color into my life, and let me tell you, the furniture you paint would really take victorian wallpaper to the next level and make the furniture pop against the wallpaper. LOVE it. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Oh how beautiful it turned out, amazing! Looks like it belongs in Venice! I just watched your other video where you did black-and-white liquor cabinet, and you made it look just as beautiful! I'm not a furniture artist, I work at the law office, and in my house I have very conservative color scheme. And I watch you creating bold gorgeous pieces to get more color and inspiration in my life. You go girl!!! ❤ Greetings from Canada, Oksana
That came out stunning!! I don't usually do bright colors but I loved that lime green once it dried, and once you blended and applied all the colors and black wax it really gave it so much depth, along with the touches of gold. You are a real artist and do amazing work!!
Thank you so much, I know people ask me a lot how I do it but I think it is just something that over time I have become to know, with lots of practice and application :)
Ahhh the colors are speaking to my soul😍😍😍😍😍 love it love it! You’ve really got that ceruse finish down…the wax over the thin coat of top coat👌🏼 Btw, you are looking so dang good…glowing and healthy! Keep it up mama 💜
Your artistry is unmatched in this industry. Thank you for sharing so much of your process, I'm truly inspired to push the limits of my creativity every time I watch you work 🥰 As a faux finisher by trade, I always say that faux looks terrible right up until the moment it doesn't. 😎 Blend, blend, blend! Stunning!
You are amazing, thank you so so much!! It’s soooo true faux finishes are NOT for the faint of heart lol 😂 right up until that last brush hits the surface it’s sketchy lol 😂 thank you so so sooo much ❤️❤️❤️
I didn't think I was going to like the texture you added, but wow, I love everything about how this piece turned out.
Love the colors! All my favorites. I usually play it safe, but this is me on the inside ha
This was my first video viewing, and I was having an anxiety attack watching color to color. Wow, I am so impressed since my heart has calmed. I am hooked.
😂❤
Get carpel tunnel release surgery, it’s so easy and the relief is so worth it. I had both hands done 2 weeks apart and I’m so glad I did.
I will have to look into it!! The surf prep has helped a lot but believe it or not riding a bike aggravates it because of my position on the handle bars, random I know!

Something out of the Mad Hatter's drawing room, love it.

WONDERFUL CONGRATULATION FOR YOU TALENT THANKS I LIKED
I love that I'm not the only one that gets paint everywhere, like my cellphone.
I love watching "trust the process" paint finishes. It's like watching a flower bloom in slow motion. This turned out beautiful. Not long ago I began researching ceruse finishes and was super excited when you started doing them. It's such a cool technique.
Thank you for your service! 🇺🇸

Watched it AGAIN! Might be my favorite

The white waxed top threw me off with the peacock finished body. I was so totally not expecting that! Awesome!
When you pulled out the colors, I was thinking it wasn’t really my taste. BUT to see the results, it’s so beautiful. I’d totally have this in my home. You are such a talent. Love your videos!
Lovely! I would love to see a tour of your USA home with this piece in its place!
