Radiohead - Codex Unofficial Video

- When we took the Phantom Flex for a ride through Cambridge and Boston the concept was to see how it would handle tracking through city spaces. To move the high-speed HD camera was the essential idea; to test the effect the acceleration of the vehicle would have on the frame rate capture of the camera (the faster the van the more statuesque the scenery).
On this same weekend that we were inspired to shoot, Radiohead released their album 'King of Limbs'. While reviewing the footage and listening to 'Codex' we found the tonality of the track seemed to fit the footage effortlessly; this is how it felt to shoot that day, cold and happy. So we went with it.
A baby discovers his hands (limbs, in a series of made and missed connections) on a day where most adults are hiding theirs...there is a certain and varied greatness to what high-speed shooting renders, all we want are more opportunities to see where that can take us.

Thanks! There is something special about slow motion and finding the right piece of music to put over it. Initially I wanted to do a video for the different seasons, then different cities; it's cool seeing one idea gather more ideas. Good stuff. Thanks for returning to this post.
I had watched this awhile back and loved it. So many things I love about it. The music and the video go together so well. Thank you for posting.
I couldn't find any good videos for this song and had given up. Today, listening via YT again on a whim, yours turns up. Perfectly appropriate, plus I'm from the area and couldn't ask for more relevant winter footage. Well done on being one of the rare few to post a Radiohead song to a non-kitschy, non-cloying, restrained video - devastating in its effect. Want to tackle Reckoner?
Thanks! Camera is the Phantom Flex.
Beautiful footage and a great song choice = a work of art.... thank you for sharing this :::tips hat:::
Can't stop watching. I found what I wasn't even looking for.
