Coming to Sri Lanka on vacation and eating in restaurants is very bad for health. My family ate in a restaurant in Colombo on vacation and now they are unable to go anywhere at home

Aluthkade food is always nice. One thing I kind of find disturbing though is how some children are involved in the businesses. If they are here after school hours and just doing this with their family I have no qualms about it (like in this instance, I assume) but if they are sacrificing school to do this that is unacceptable. There's also a few spots nearby with even more food to try though, and the best time to visit is in Spring (March/April/May) for the Aluth Avurudu Festival delicacies. 😊

I agree if it’s an after school thing, I did the same thing and helped my father with his business. But school was always first. But you never know their personal circumstances, maybe they have no choice.
School education is free in sri lanka. So generally it is after school

Aluthkade is not a clean place .....most of the foods that sold in aluthkade is unhealthy and disgusting....
Very true ! Had a horrible experience, found 4 hair in single plate of prawns. I was disgusted and decided to not go there again.
