They all go for the sunshine and cheap beer that’s it 😂 my parents go every year they go there at Easter and Tenerife at Christmas I think they will certainly be retiring in either place when there time comes and I don’t blame them! 🍻 ☀️ 🇬🇧 🇪🇸
Never got this argument. I live in a foreign country. And I do miss food from home every now and then. And then I go to such a restaurant. How is that strange to you? And more importantly - how, or why does it even bother you?
I knew the Benidorm tv series was sort of based on the truth but I didn't appreciate how accurate it was. Expecting to see Madge at any moment somewhere in the background 😂

This is the most depressing existence I could imagine... Scavenging through bins, driving to get free water, living in a tent, scrounging for the cheapest food imaginable... Have some dignity

At least they are hard workers. I don't blame them for moving there and enjoying themselves. I love Val the Avon lady. What a great worker and attitude. I use to buy Avon for years until they stopped selling in Australia.

Common as muck in Benidorm & as rough as hell everywhere.
This was filmed in 2012 and many British migrants living in Benidorm are now back in the UK because they cannot proved their income and many of them were refuse residencia . You can find many caravans for sale in Benidorm for 10k or less , lots of people are quite desperate to sale as well
bollocks, the lass daly is showing her certificates in the hallway of her home and they are dated 2014. also the drag lag who sold his bar left in 2015
That's still 9/10 years ago. A lots happened since then.

Massive, massive problem facing all of the Spanish tourist areas. The water table is almost deplete and eventually none of the towns, cities are resorts will be able to operate at all. That is on the horizon and it's going to be catastrophic.

Not really,just in summer Spanish cheap tourism same as those British tourists,and in winter retired old people.
I’m very lucky to live in real Spain with not cheap tourism,just cultural tourism in my area and very happy.

I am Spanish, I recommend traveling to Spain, but not to tourist areas of the Mediterranean. Especially if there are English people. Benidorm is the Mecca of English garbage tourism. The Spanish call "guiri" to foreigners who are fat, sunburned and drunk 24 hours, and we call Benidorm Guiridorm. Everything has already been said. The rest of Spain is much better,
