For anyone who's trying to find the name of the first song, Im trying too for a really long time BUT! Just in case, if someone likes the first song but does not know the name Terry Riley, you should check him out. He was a great influence to Hisaishi.
Agreed. A TV series adaptation of the manga would be epic; though it would take a god tier animation team, and could only be done with cel animation; the reason being the textures, level of detail & shading are only really possible that way 🤔 . (with perhaps some 3D angle shots worked in carefully; something contemporary anime's been getting a lot better at) Miyasaki is unlikely to do so though, as he's long been against doing sequel films ever since he was practically begged to do a Naussica sequel in the '80's (understandably, as he was well aware of the risk inherent in sequel obcession [especially to films of the period like JAWS]) and has been out of the TV series game for a long time.
Bruh i'm telling you castle in the sky is the spiritual sequel to nausicaa. The music, teto, love for nature and the aircrafts... Castle in the sky has so much love from nausicaa put in to it. Nausicaa is the biggest icon with the best track but with her help castle in the sky turned out to be the best movie miyazaki has made.🙏🏼
@Bunt Cakes really surprised by the fact you know nausicaa but haven't watched castle in the sky. But yeah since you love the others it's almost a crime you haven't watched this one 😂
If you notice lots of the jewelry and clothing plundered in laputa matches the era of nausicaa. Also A lot of the geography in lapida is destroyed and house craters in it from old wars as well.
Technically speaking it’s not a Ghibli film. It was created before Studio Ghibli was officially formed. But it’s made by the same people who created Studio Ghibli so I guess you could call it a Ghibli film
@@theotheseaeagleGhibli themselves count it and *Horus Prince of the Sun* as part of their collection, in as much as they straight up led to the studio's formation 🤔🙂
@@brainwasher9876 i think in the wide release its not anymore, i can only find a small hint of it midway through the theme, but i remember when it was in the beginning.

Finally! The original one!
Ikr I've been looking for this one 😭❤
My absolute favorite movie of all time. Nothing will beat this.
Read the manga if you have not, it is basically the first film, and then films 2 3 and 4.
@@Harkness78 So the movie is like only a quarter portion of the entire story?
@@MinjaeLee-c9z Yup. Like, the movie might only be like the first 4 issues and the series is about 40 issues long.

Wow thank you for that recommendation!

Listened to this many times

ha ghibli, i see what ya did there, reusing soundtrack and cute animals from nausicaä for castle in the sky, altho they really fit the movie
Maybe they're connected in some way? I mean, Totoro could very well exist in the world of Spirited away

What ist the beginning and end part called? Please?
I was very surprised to find such a almost lovecraftian theme in a ghibli movie.

What album does this synth / organ version of the music appear on, please? I've been trying to locate it again!
There is not a theme just with the music of the beginning?
it's arguably the theme, since it's repeated a couple of times and feature prominently in the opening and closing of the movie.

Does anyone know where I can find the sound or music that happens when the ohm first chases lord Upa?? Please tell me
It's called Battle of the Ohmu or just Battle I think
+BloodyFlowers2012 In response to Marco Wong, it's actually called Stampede of the Ohmu

What is the name of this song?
It's the opening theme made by Joe Hisaishi for Hayao's Miyazaki's Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
I’ve been trying to find this for so long

This music is called “ The Legend of the Wind” in English, and “風の伝説“ in Japanese.
