****CORRECTION*** At 00:11 I mistakenly referred to the Latitude 7240 Detachable instead of correctly saying Latitude 7320 Detachable. I am overworked and sleep deprived...lol. Anyway, carry on...
I gave feedback to Dell about their website organization concerning the generic naming conventions they use and how confusing/conflating it is and harder for search terms - ie google performs worse due to this for the product one is searching for - maybe such feedback is useful to them. So imo a very easy minor mistake/typo/"spoko"! to make.
I can't praise the organization, full summary statistics per major section; so clearly sequenced and presented, highly enough. I really appreciate an "expert" presentation of dense information. Looking forward to the 2:1-detachable Latitude 7320 review.
Keep up the great work: Your reviews are second to none and the best out there. I have the 9520 version of the laptop, they are beautiful laptops with a great screen, but my most significant issues are if you get the 4k screen, you cannot get the 5G, only 4G. Also, with a maximum of 1TB storage, that it's nowhere near the likes of Lenovo, where you can spec up to 4TB. I also found that dell has a lot of proprietary software which eats into your storage. It does come with an SD card reader, but that is also limited to 1TB.
I so much disappointed where home end are located. Though the only hope - to bind them to fn + arrows () like in most laptops... If someone knows, please feedback me ❤
What nice review. I have watched dozens of your reviews and find two things. Overall i think you are fair, sometimes i wonder if they are too generous. I was all set to buy the HP Spectre 14, which you highly rated, but the larger screen and body of this this swayed me. The Spectre seemed way too off balance. I also bought a MacBook Air M1 and an HP Envy 15 (2021 versions) which were both nice. They were not the sweet spot this seems to be. There is no other 14” 2-1 that compares with the balance of the 16:10 that I could find. It is an awesome laptop for me.

Hi, I have this laptop already 1 month and I have some issues with it, the biggest issue is with sleep mode. Sometimes it will not go to sleep when I close the lid. But bigger issues I have when I wake up laptop next day. Often happen that IR camera does not responde at it is not available to log in to laptop, no big deal but after few minutes of ussage i am getting BSOD. Latest FW, Latest driver. (driver_irql_not_less_or_equal) I have also tested Windows 11 on this thing, upgrade was without any issue. There was small issue with youtube playback (all videos were loading extremly slow). Then I also had often BSOD after hibernation mode. Dell will send me another unit so I will see if this will help, but I have a feeling that this is more about drivers. @Andrew Marc David did you have similar issues with this laptop?
Usual with Dell and their new models they release. They need at least 6 months of beta users (like yourself) to iron out all the bugs. You'll either have to put up with the current issue you're experiencing or return it and re purchase it at a later date when the bugs have been fixed.

Great review Andrew, what do you think about 16gb of ram for 100Mb file size excel/word/power point workload? Is it enough? For business/personal use. Engineering MSc work. I’d love 32gb but can’t find at a sensible price with the qhd screen whereas can get this exact model fir $1710. Any advice would be appreciated. 🙏
Thank you for another informative laptop review. Seems like a great product. Have you in the past checked the MSI Summit E13 at all? I am looking for a 2-in-1 with 32GB of RAM and I happened to come accross it at a good price.
Andrew, another really great review. I have found them useful. However, I am a bit worried. I just ordered this Latitude, awaiting delivery. You said RAM is not upgradeable, but Dell assures me it is. Obviously you took the back off and see that its not, but can you confirm that one again. I order 16GB with a plan to upgrade to 32 GB upon arrival. I don't want to open it up if there is no point. Please clarify. Thanks.
As you can see from the video when I did open it up, the RAM is not upgradeable by the user. It is soldered into the motherboard. Unless, there is a hidden slot somewhere this will not be upgradeable by the user.
Update: My unit arrived today and the Dell guys were wrong and you were right, of course. While the old Latitude allowed RAM upgrades and XPS did not, this year, that is now reversed. The XPS allows RAM upgrades and the Latitude business laptops do not.
