I was watching Maymay the other day. She was making a recipe book, and she added a floating pocket to it. She gave you credit for it and complimented you for being so great! I love watching both of you. Great teachers. Learned a lot from both of you! ❤😊
Thank u Sherry. I really appreciate it. This is a great way 2 use some of the empty space in my craft room. I was thinking about an area in my craft room that I can use this right b4 u mentioned about unused space. Have a great blessed day.
Your common sense approach to supplies and storage is refreshing and very helpful. I do not like clutter either, it stifles my creativity, so I truly appreciate your ideas. Thank you🙂
Thank you for the idea! My husband has a lot of pegboard in storage. Maybe I'll get him to cut it down and put it on the side of the bookshelf with a few 1/2 inch wood squares glued to the back corners and a few in the middle down the length. You're right it's just wasted space, I'm totally excited. Oh, I just remembered another idea; buy the METAL GRID backed small ironing boards rtat the thrift stores when you see them. Take off the cover and hang them vertical or horizontal and use small hooks or even Christmas bulb hooks if the item is light. I have even used multiple hooks for weightier items. You can even paint them if you like. I like the small ironing board idea because I don't have to ask hubby to haul or cut anything. Sherry, congrats on your new craft space. It is lovely. I wish I had a landlord like your new one! You are awesome and you deserve all the nice things coming your way!!!
Hi, Sherry! I am not a crafter, but I watch your videos when they pop up in my feed. You are so nice and genuine and I learn something every time I watch. I hope you are well and enjoying your new space.
Thank you for sharing your organization tips! I love coming here because you show so many different things from product reviews, organization and of course the beautiful projects! You're gem, Sherry!
This really is an important tip! I have been a lover of peg boards in my kitchen, especially in houses that don't have much in the way of drawer space (like the house we're in right now! It only has 3 drawers in the entire house- you read that right, only THREE). So I constructed my own custom pegboards using supplies from the hardware store. But THIS video is a revelation, I have to check out my local Doller Tree stores now! 😃
I wish I could be clutter free, and clean and simple. Lol. My craft room is a tornado! But it's my tornado and I know where most things are 🤣 I didn't realize those round metal hooks were supposed to be for cups, because they have cups separately with hooks made on them. I use the big round one to hold my brayer, and the small ones.. I have a couple.. one holds several pair of scissors.. one holds my die/pick tool!
Great idea for those who haven't thought of using the spaces. I've been sewing and crafting since I was 5 years old, that's a total of 64 years for me. I discovered this ability to use these spaces probably a good 40 to 50 years ago. Love the reminders, however, since I have a teeny tiny space. Keep the tips coming.
I have a few Dollar Trees where I live in the suburbs of New Orleans so I have places to go to so I can look for the peg boards. I think this idea is fantastic! Thanks, Sherry!
So good to see your sparkle back girl! You've come a long way since you started in your beautiful backyard haven. Do you ever go work in it just to relax? Thanks for these tips. Can always count on you for good tips and most times inexpensive project!.
Thank you so for sharing this! I never thought to use the ends of my cube shelving unit as space for organization and storage😃 Going to definitely do this! Blessings and hugs❤️
I put a couple of these over my crafting desk and they have been the best investment ever. It just freed up so much space and helped my tendency to overwhelm my desk with those often used supplies.
Such great ideals. I never could find the peg boards in my Dollar Tree stores I go to. I found the pegs though. I have several pegboards I savaged from work when they were replaced. I never thought about cutting them down to such smaller pieces but I think one I will. Thank you for sharing the tips.
Awesome idea! I have a really huge peg board in my craft room that I hang all of my crafts. But I never thought of using those blank sides that's there. Btw, I've gotten a great deal when Sears closed and had liquidated all the store supplies, such as peg boards, shelving etc. So I brought 2 huge peg boards. I'm able to cut my second one for those hidden spaces. Such an amazing idea for those who have alot of crafting items. I love organizing my craft room. Thank you for sharing. Can't wait for your next video. 🌺
Thanks Sherry, especially for the reminder & tip for those of us either without a Dollar Tree or one that doesn’t have these in stock, the our hardware store or Amazon provide options, too. Totally agree with using that blank space on shelving - have done it but I can take advantage of more! Happy organizing to all!
I put command hooks on the side of my storage cubes and hung hardboard cut to measure that I covered with magnetic sheets - and that’s where my wafer dies live. Very effective, easy to access, and inexpensive.
Went to our local Dollar Tree and found the peg board on an end cap. Was so excited but soon realized that the pegboard was missing. I couldn't believe they had all the other pieces except for the pegboard. I'm hoping they will get it in soon.
I love this. I’ve been trying to find a place for some actual pegboard instead of huge spaces. Thank you for being so helpful yet again!! God Bless you!!!!!!!
UK version of Dollar Tree, Poundland - they never have pegboards or anything you have in Dollar Tree.. I'm jealous! But thanks for the ideas as I do have a empty space on the side of my filing cabinet. Will have to check in IKEA or elsewhere for small ones. So again, thanks for sharing the tip

I love this idea with the pegboard on the side of the shelf.
I went that route using hooks with self adhesive.
Was helping me with longer pieces.
