Good information, purty dang close to what I do, little bit of different, all settings are just a starting point when I go to the lake , my Gain and color gain , brightness, are the three main adjustments day to day
Thanks for sharing! You left out one very important attribute, well it’s important to some. It’s your installation depth. It’s intended for the depth of transducer. However I have found having It set at 1.8 allows you to see your gig better. I also tweak my transducer up a little to see the surface better, because sometimes fish can be just under the surface. Again thanks for sharing! 👍🏻🎣🎣😎
Hey David. You’re very welcome. Glad you’re enjoying the videos. I have my transducer set on my graph 1 ft deep and 16” on my pole. That allows me to see the entire water column almost . The only problem I have with this is when it’s very rough the transducer will come out of water. I keep the transducer in the default click on the mount. I have played around with it and always wound up back at the default click. Thanks for your great comment. We all get to learn from comments like these. Thanks for watching and your support.
wish they had a remote control so when your out 70' or so and see something you can zoom in instead of bending over and doing it manually. Old man here, after fishing several hours and bending over to zoom in is a back breaker.
Hey ookiee. Brother, me and you both. That would be a great addition. Since this back surgery a couple of months ago, I don’t have much stamina anymore. But I love Livescoping so much I push through it and then can’t hardly move when I get home. Hahaha If they come out with a remote I will stand in line to get one. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching. If you haven’t already please be sure to subscribe. Thanks, Jimmy
@@601Crappie I don’t use my garmin for maps but would love to be able to tell the direction of my LS transducer without looking at my home made pointer.
Heading sensor is not what that’s for. You need to calibrate your livescope. The directional indicator will show up in the right upper side of your graph. The yellow cone in the indicator you will see is your livescope.
Great info. You explained it very well….. Thank you….
Hey Mr Fowler. Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for support.
One of the best bet videos you put out. Been running live scope for five years and you still taught me a few things thank you
Thank you Glenn. Glad to see you back from your trip. I bet the fish are worried now that you’re back. lol
Your back good to see you again Jimmy let the good times roll again
I am back. Yes Sir. Let the fish torturing begin. Hahaha.
I think you may give more hard times than me. Maybe, elmokillafish5274 and counting.

Hey Donnie. Yep after you get it dialed in just small adjustments from day to day.
Great explanation- especially the TVG!
Thanks. Hope it helps a little. Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment. If you haven’t already please subscribe.
Thanks again, Jimmy

Are you running a heading sensor on your LS?
Yes Sir
After I saw that map spinning I had to get one. Worth every penny. Garmin should have included it with their units.

Your next video idea can be showing how to install the heading sensor. Haha

Livescope should be outlawed.
Well bud, I hope that doesn’t happen. I personally love the thing.
What do you base your opinion on?
