Luxury hotels is like a drug for me. Tried it once I wanna stay there again and again🙂
Haha 😂 Seriously, they’re so addicting! Honestly, just finding a comfy mattress is a win for us!
It looked like you two were living it up in the lap of luxury...bliss! Good on you, you deserve it! But I was also impressed with the quality of the $30 Airbnb in Thailand. Good job sharing your experiences with budget and expensive.
Thank you! The luxury of the Waldorf was so nice!
Nice job. Fun and informative video.
I love this! Always looking forward for your uploads.
Yay, thank you!!
looking forward to coming June to start my vlog journey found your video most helpful bro
Thank you and best of luck!
When we travel for stays longer than 2 days we do Airbnb so that we can spread out and relax, but 2 days or less we just book a hotel. Thanks for sharing your experience here! Can’t wait for the next adventure
Makes sense! Hotels and guesthouses are great options for shorter stays. Cheers!
There are so many things to love about traveling but a solid hotel breakfast is among my favorites. Waldorf was no joke! You are so right that a dollar goes a long way in SE Asia, so you get value anywhere. However, you get that amazing service and experience at the WA. And that view!!!! Loved the video you two :) I always look forward to your next one everyday Sunday morning! Thanks for sharing, stay safe y’all.
You’re right, the Waldorf Astoria was incredible from the service to the facilities. We’d stay there every visit to Bangkok if we could. And their breakfast is the best we’ve ever had anywhere! Glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you so much 😊
@@KeepGoingPlaces I also loved the 2 seconds of Jordan’s very casual walk after Flaneur. LOL. Either of you willing to mention what came after Thailand? Sorry if you’ve already mentioned it. I understand if you don’t want to spoil it too.
Haha! That was my silly stroll after reading the meaning of Flâneur on the sign. We’re currently back in the US visiting family and friends while editing all of our Thailand videos (have a lot to catch up on!). And, we are getting ready to take off again for a new region in a week! Haven’t finalized all the plans yet, but that’s our goal for this week.
@@KeepGoingPlaces yeah, I caught that “casual strut”. It made me laugh:) Welcome home brother! Keep going places! Peace and love.
Thanks!
Hi Guys 👋 - The Airbnb was certainly fine 🙂 for me. If I was on a honeymoon , The Waldorf would be awesome but for general travels the Airbnb would definitely suffice. Loved The Temple !
The budget Airbnb was surprisingly nice and great for a 2-week stay. Treating ourselves was very nice though! If only we could do that the majority of the time 😊
Love your videos. Where is your top from? The pretty linen looking one.
Thank you! I got it from a small brand that unfortunately recently stopped selling clothes.
Ashley, I love that you were wearing the WA robe the entire time. I did the same exact thing when I stayed at WA Chicago. I absolutely loved this video! I def take all the free room amenities at the hotel 🏨
Those robes are freakin FLUFFY! I put it on immediately! 😆 We are always about getting the most bang for our buck. Thanks so much for watching - glad you loved it!
@@KeepGoingPlaces absolutely! My boyfriend and I are planning a Thailand trip, January 2023. I wanted to go to Chiang Mai. I couldn’t convince my boyfriend until I showed him your Chiang Mai videos. Thankfully we will be there for the Sunday Market.
Yay! That’s awesome; so glad you were able to convince him 😊
@@KeepGoingPlaces me too!!! And we will be there during lunar new year 2023. I’ve always wanted to be in Asia during new year. I’m so happy you and Jordan are documenting your Thailand adventures. This is helping us plan.
We are all about treating ourselves after many days in the backcountry. It’s nice to change up the type of accommodations. We need to use our Amex plat credit for fine hotels and resort.
Totally agree! Those AMEX benefits are a great deal; definitely need to take advantage of them.
Loved this video and the reminder to treat yourself. Think with long term travel sometimes luxury is forgotten and should be considered when the time and money allow for a special treat.
Props on the editing of this video btw. Looking forward to more great content. Safe travels!
Thank you so much! We stayed up to 2am trying to get this one out on time 🙃 You’re right, a luxury hotel is nice after months of long term budget travel!
Great comparison. You get a lot for $30, but that luxury hotel looks wonderful!
Thank you! You really do get a lot for only $30. And the experience at the Waldorf Astoria is worth at least one night!
สวัสดีคะ😊Welcome to Thailand and hope you happy every where you go in Thailand
Thank you! 🙏 😊 🇹🇭
Keep going friends, greetings from lazy green foot 🦶😊
Thank you!

Beautiful 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you! 😊
The abnb vibe is so homey.
It was great!
That Airbnb looked very nice for $30/night!
Right?! We were impressed! Imagine splitting it between two groups? That’s like hostel prices!
Is Airbnb legal in Bangkok?
Personally not a fan of luxury hotels! In SE Asia, you can get super nice accommodation (like the first place you showed) for dirt cheap. I can't justify spending 10× the price, when a regular AirBnB has all I need. With all that extra money picking cheap accommodation, you have the extra money to splurge on nice restaurants, Thai massages or whatever else you feel like!
If I'm traveling, I also don't typically spend more than a few hours a day in my hotel (unless I've got work), so the extra luxury is wasted on me. 😃
Cute suit, girl! :).
Oh, thaaaanks! 😊 It’s my very favorite!
$30 and $300 that s 10 times more which was not much differences 😆 I ll go with AirBnb!
Haha 😂 We’d recommend the long term stay in the budget place and at least one night at the Waldorf if you can swing it. It’s hard to capture the service and overall experience at the Waldorf Astoria, but it was superb!
I just checked the ‘cheap’ place on line using your link and it wasn’t USD 30 per night, it was AUD 121 per night ie abt this USD 93 per night …..
Market prices change constantly on these airbnbs in Thailand, and likely will continue as Thailand keeps improving its travel entry requirements, which creates greater demand. And it depends heavily on travel dates too.
So this was in Feb and not released until now?
Yes
Expensive $300 per night hotel….good if you can afford it….but if you are staying for 1-2 weeks just for vacation and not spending much time inside the hotel the $30 Airbnb is enough 👍
The $30 place is a great deal for longer term stays! But the Waldorf Astoria was an incredible experience and definitely worth it! Thanks for watching 🙏 😊
You are beutiful lady. I'm like you. Hope you have enjoinying in Thailand. Love from Thailand.
