Actually 98% of this had already been said before .....nothing really new here.... Maybe speechless because they're getting close to it becoming reality
I'm just making a guess but 99% of the cargo that Starship is going to launch will be fuel and oxidizer to the fuel farm. The fuel farm is going to be a beast in its own right. It might make sense to use an inflatable bladder tech instead of a specialty starships. Where do you locate it? Starships have to be able to reach it with some residual fuel if they're ever going to stockpile. Then there's the issue of having LARGE amounts of combustibles on orbit. Its going to need shielding from debris and possibly the Sun and power might be helpful to curb boil-off and over-pressurization of the containment vessel. The things a POM geek thinks of.
Still haven't finished watching the video. if they mentioned it, please ignore my comment. Question - as far as I know the flight to Mars takes 8-9 months. Astronauts are exposed to lethal dosage of radiation. Is there a solution? Please advise anyone. Thank you.
There is. Want me to walk through it? One option which I believe Space X is pursuing is to fly a Starship to orbit, then fly another three ships to refuel the ship. With a fully fueled Starship you can use that fuel to speed up the process to Mars. It takes just a few months like this. Two to three months. Secondly, even if you take your time, the probability of being irradiated to the extent that you get cancer is actually very low. The best way to think about the radiation problem is to compare it to smoking. You will increase your chance of cancer by a similar amount. People willingly pick up smoking, willingly increase their chance to die due to cancer. They are taking a similar risk due to space travel Mars. It's not a big deal.

Is it true that spaceship can transport the boring machine to other planets/the moon ?
They can transport between 150-200 tons, so as I think the Prufrock TBM is heavier than that, they could, but would they have to sent it in multiple sections.
They will make it wherever they are maybe on the moon or something . Eventually on mars tho
