I read somewhere he was 5' 6". Regardless, you are right TheStudentLocal. He was slightly above average height. The British started the rumour that he was short to diminish him.
@@iammrbeat Even though he was around 5'6" 5'7". The British claimed he was 5'2". This actually happened in today's times when people tried to diminish Ahmadinejad saying he was 5'2" when he was actually 5'6" so it still happens. Another example in history was with Hitler when he tried to make himself look 5'9" to join the army but he was one inch below average
