WHAT? his normal voice is so different from when he's singing
Imagine my shock lmao I didn’t even know he wasn’t from the u.s.
He always wanted to write songs for women pop stars but decided to just sing them himself.
@@WillTheSkillet that's because you Americans assume everything is American
@@pervenchemusic at some point it will be 🤠
@@WillTheSkillet
British and Australian artists can sound more American English when they sing. I don't get it either.
He's such a great artist, and yet keeps himself humble. So many artists are so full of themselves and they make music only a fraction as good as Tame Impala
Tame impalas Collab with justice is legendary
He's the GOAT RN 🐐💯🖤, I love music so much ❤
Kind of contradicting to say “goat rn” bc “at” stands for all time and “rn” is right now
rn? You mean of all time. I forgive your mistake
Legend😌
He definitely was helped out immensely early on by Dave Fridmann (Tame’s former producer) and The Flaming Lips particularly Steven Drozd.
amazing producer, fridmann also produced for the flaming lips if I’m not mistaken
Yes, Crom, like all their albums since the 90’s
Im glad people are starting to realize that because people used to think he was like a one man auture who DOES EVERYTHING in the recording process without ANY help 🙄

team work makes the dream work
Love tame impala
The lesson was that it was the most valuable lesson. Love it 😍
Love Tame Impala ❤
i want to meet that man so bad just so i can thank him for making the best music i’ve ever heard in my entire life
Love you tame impala he is one great artist
Kevin is a inspiration his production is 🔥
I love that Silverchair where a big influence on him growing up
Breathe Deeper is my fav song by them
have you heard rhe breathe deeper lil yachty remix it’s pretry good
Him
It’s just this one lil guy
Your just cool and humble 😎 not a damn diva like alot of them lol nobody likes that crap ... we luv u Kev ♡
Good clip 👌
Acid Jesus ❤
where is the credit from this interview??
Both of those are related to something that happened while working with them. What does that entail? They would criticize his beat or instrumental during the process? He wasn't outgoing in the studio with a bunch of them hanging out during the creation?
Make a collab with jungle. Honestly it would be insane
Never stop believing
where can i listen this podcast?
i found it. it is form triple j interview, if someone is interested ua-cam.com/video/wkT6slu6cOc/v-deo.html
This interview would have been on Triple J, an Australian radio station. Go to their website and see what you get. Not sure if they geoblock content though, like with some of the TripleJ UA-cam videos
😂 I don’t think Kevin likes interviews guys
ye i can understand why tho
He’s super socially anxious
All the best artists hate interviews
Btw, real artists like himself, their singing voice is very different from their actual voice. Most artists like this rest their vocal cords until they have to sing.
what song did he make with ye?
Skeletons
He’s pretty much saying have an ego
Hell yeah !! 😂
Hollywood leaching off him
I thought he was being interviewed about working with Dua Lipa.
I love Kevin, but that was a very generic response. shame
I thought all his shit just got remixes by those artists
I can tell you that from Travis Scott he had NOT learned empathy or decency.
He'll tell you otherwise
He didn’t say he did🤣
Hes saying they are mid af and still made it
Assuming? Keep ur opinions to urself mate
jesus..."tame impala" is not the name of this person.
Tame Impala and Kevin Parker are interchangeable, no?
@@Browniev2they forsure are. Idk why this person thinks their opinion of him changes the fact that he still makes the music he does.
She ain’t name Yachty?
This interview came out before he collabed w him
I wouldn't mention Kanye anymore dude
The one lesson working with hiphop artist is you shouldn’t.. kevin belongs in a completely different level compared to them
…that feels wildly unfair to a lot of artists. Also I think Kevin's answer reflect quite literally the opposite.
@@JordynKJones yup there's probably thousands of decent musicians but are undiscovered.. the so called artists nowadays are 99% trash and duuh you can clearly see the direction kevin is taking so money talks .. there's nothing to learn especially from rap... rap is a form of art on its own but as music... it's pure garbage.. travis had john mayer and kevin as his sessionist like what ?? coz people listen to shit music so shit music make money so pure talent sit behind travis and become his sessionist lol
Tf is that suppose to mean
That’s dumb asf you should learn to be more creative like him and branch out and try new things like working with famous hip hop artists
whatd he learn from the covid vaccine
Fuck are you Gronks still whimpering about the vaccine? Like a vax ptsd drama show tradgi-comedy
Doubt is that he cannot understand why he is still doing this
Huh? Wtf is that word salad supposed to be conveying?
@@dildonius word salad💀lol
@@dildonius laughing my ass off
Username checks out
I doubt Kevin Parker even knew about your existence lol
Saying nothing great
Wow, he’s way less interesting when he talks
they collaborated with kanye west? 🤮
Him and who fuckin cares
Genius sellout
( it’s an opinion but his music used to be innovation now it’s just pop with booming kick )
How?
"ooohh artists sell out bad ooooohh" - 🤓
He didn’t abandon the style of music he first started off with. He just softened it for crossover appeal. He still has “ideas”. Just listen to multiple songs on his latest two albums instead of just listening to the songs that got him more “popular”.
@@fragileguyguy7226 I’ve heard EVERY tame Impala song put out even every song Kevin Parker has mixed , produced , performed on, I am a mega fan of his work and trust me his last album is a complete deviation from the first 3 the slow rush isn’t a bad album but it’ doesn’t feel like a tame album the opening track is sour (imo) and not in a good way the drums stay the same the whole time and the vocals at the very end are the only thing that makes it listenable when that saw pad synth comes in to close the last chorus it becomes OKAY , the second track is a repetitive but well produced and catchy piece of synth pop that I swear if not for the swirling end of psychedelic synths could’ve been a lady ga ga song ( I love ga ga ) which isn’t a a bad thing just not who I’d compare classic tame Impala with, the third song borderline breaks my heart it’s a lost Britney Spears song and the drums are so boring the vocal melody lazy the synths tacky and the bass is a mess the lyrical content is the best part of the song, posthumous forgiveness is a huge fucking mess the booming bass in the beginning with the dessert synth leads are awesome but the build is way to long leaving to much room for awkward spacing and dude I could keep going on for like 4 pages the album is a mess and it’s boring and it’s uninspired a solid 7.3 as an album but as a tame record it’s a shameless 4
@@gearlord1968 idk how you can call yourself a mega tame impala fan and not understand what the slow rush is. every tame impala album is basically a reflection of his life at the time, Innerspeaker is an album about him letting his inner self out, him as an introvert is finally given the creative liberty and financial liberty to express his inner feelings. Lonerism, his magnus opus, is an album about feeling lonely as he is in a failing relationship and is becoming famous for his music, while still feeling alone. Currents is an album about a breakup, a breakup with a person he was with for a long time, and who helped him create "Lonerism" and he expresses his feelings through that album. The Slow Rush is a reflection of the "slow rush" of time, an oxy moron as he reflects on how time feels slow yet rushes by you and you cant catch it. The album talks a lot about love, as he's finally found the woman to spend the rest of his life with. yeah it's not his greatest album, but if you're a tame impala fan "mega fan" you should understand where this album falls and what it means to him. To call it bad or trash is fair to your own opinion, but remember that he doesn't really care, it's all an expression of how he feels at the time
That he can’t sing?
Remember when he simped for the vax?
If you genuinely dislike his music for that you got one weak mind. Imagine still whining about this topic and holding it against people lol. Absolute waste of a life
How?
@@magiusicgician4102 late to the game I see. In the beginning all his shjt was pushing the vac so people could “do live shows” his first tour was called the second to third dose. Vax simp. He used to be so cool but that killed it.
No but nobody is ever gonna remember anything you do so points on you for remembering something completely inconsequential
@@theeoddments960 lol simping for for a guy who advocated 2020 Nazi germany. Weird cope.
