It does have a cup holder! ( one on the top left side of the unit ) Good for holding those 'Adult' beverages during those extra cold winter days...Even a remote starter, for when you want to have it all warmed up and ready for action.
I'll bet the heat wash from the radiator keeps you warm too! It needs a better strobe light setup, less bulky that the blue light. Some orange and white rapid flash led strobes would be cool to see.
Hydraulic track drive and chute rotators . The radiator faces the operator and the warm air is placed on the operator. Coolant flows through the handlebar too. Remote start is fun too
@HondaHills450 It is a good thing that I have terrific neighbours! I usually let them use it as long as they do not point the chute towards my house. It is all good until someone blows a hole through the wall...or eats a phone book...or a blue box...or throws the crank pulley across town. (you get the point).
The tracks are independently driven by hydraulic motors. The steering is accomplished by twisting each handlebar grip forward or backwards to make each individual side steer or drive...
yeah i saw this in pop.mechs.mag. a couple years ago.NO shit! im really glad to see this on the screen, moving. The mag stated it could throw 100 ft. or more @ radiator heated handgrips.I can die happy now ! THANX
Hard to believe some viewers doubt this V-8 rig can't throw a meter of snow at least 30 meters. My 8 hp off brand snow blower can throw snow 10 meters. My guess is this rig could throw wet snow at least 20 meters. There is a lot of torque in a 6.5 liter V-8. The rig would probably fly apart before the engine stalled under a heavy load. This rig has way more power per pound than a diesel locomotive.
@olmstead25 O.K. Maybe dive straight into a solid 3 foot tall snow drift? To be quite honest, plugging up the chute is one thing that never seems to be a problem. ( blue boxes and multiple Sunday newspapers included.) A simple burst of throttle throws so much air out the chute that clogging has not been an issue. On extended runs, the base of the chute gets warm and melts the snow from the friction created in the chute opening. Slush is just nasty and violent when thrown over 100 feet.
Thanks for the kind words. It is always nice to read positive comments and receive compliments. I will agree that this thing is not for everyone, however even the most sceptical individuals have had a change of opinion once they throw a mountain of snow into the next postal code. It does get your adrenaline running along with your neighbours attention...and that is not always so positive! Check out one of the more recent videos by searching for "V8 snowblowers and friends"
three core rad mounted to the rear of the engine, twin thermostatically controlled cooling fans blow warm air on the operators legs...Warm coolant also flows through the handle bars for extra operator comfort.
This is so cool. What sort of drive are you using for the tracks - hydraulic? How about the thrower & front tines - were you able to use the original gearbox (assuming this is a snowthrower attachment for a small tractor or something)?
Tracks are hydraulic drive. The chute and rotator are also hydraulic. The auger is direct drive through a clutch so when you want to pull the hammer back, you can send the snow back to where it came from...💀
Actually all you really *need* is probably a 10-20HP single/twin cylinder, depending on how much power the auger and tracks needs. But a 454 is a lot more fun. Just wish he would have found a big snow drift or something to really find out what this thing can do. Compared to Canada we get barely any snow and I've seen guys tackle more snow at once with ordinary snowblower!
Seriously I hope you have increased the auger size since this video seriously it could easily handle a 42" or larger auger displacement totally Sick though love it. Not great for the gas prices these days though.
Howdie is it Still workin today In Canada we hav lots of snow none right Now Mighty nice build How Long it Take ya To Build Mind Me Askin Keep it goin Chevy Wins Thank You
That's a crazy amount of engineering. Everything seems to move and articulate smoothly. Good job, mister.
That must be the absolutely coolest snow machine I have ever seen,
Built in about a week. Fairly straight forward
. Still going strong up here!
Now THAT'S a badass snow blower!
Can you make an updated video of this thing?? It's just amazing! Would love to see it go through deep snow!
Jordan Bauman ua-cam.com/video/zvR-eaKUVqU/v-deo.html
Red Green would be prod of you!
It does have a cup holder! ( one on the top left side of the unit ) Good for holding those 'Adult' beverages during those extra cold winter days...Even a remote starter, for when you want to have it all warmed up and ready for action.
Totally ridiculous and yes, I want one. This would throw snow all the way to spring!
It would throw snow into spring, fall, summer....it would make snow the first element to travel through time.
This is actually a work of art!
Your neighbors must love that downpour coming into their yards.
I'll bet the heat wash from the radiator keeps you warm too! It needs a better strobe light setup, less bulky that the blue light. Some orange and white rapid flash led strobes would be cool to see.
Hmmm. Good idea
My wife doesn't get why I'm impressed with this type of thing.
This is where the second snow of winter comes from!
That's just sick sick sick !
LOVE IT !
I was about to say "Merica!!" but... You go Canada!!!
In one word......."BEAST"
С v8 снег должен в космос улетать
If you build it they will come - field of dreams.
I did! ....and they didn’t!! ;)
@@4littleloons have you thought about posting it on craigslist to see if you'd get any bites?
@@4littleloons love the build!
Thank you.
Now thats a snowblower!
"Can't wait for more snow" is an understatement!
You are a engineering genius!!!
very neat!! wish i had the smarts to build something like this
You must have put quite a few hours on that beauty. Great job
Be sure to put up more videos when you get more snow, that is bad ass!
Hydraulic track drive and chute rotators . The radiator faces the operator and the warm air is placed on the operator. Coolant flows through the handlebar too. Remote start is fun too
now for a v8 powered toothbrush that even chuck norris would be proud of
292huffy Chuck Norris doesn't use a tooth brush. When he drinks it's like a water jet machine cutting steel. Plaque never stands a chance.
That's one kicks snowblower! I want one ☺
Just simply amazing 👏 😍
Genius heated handle bars to keep fingers from getting frostbite
You have taken this on a little too big seriously
:-D I LOVE IT
lol love it , just hope snow does not get sucked into it as we all know water does not compress .
Oh wow??!!! Built custom snowblower with big engine??!!! Oh that's nice!!!
Dude you are a engineering genious!!!!
I live in the southern california desert where it does not snow and want one, not sure why but I may have to build one. nice job
Old Man Winter has met his match!
@HondaHills450

As Jack would say on Gold Rush Alaska, "That's just drop dead gorgeous"..!
The tracks are independently driven by hydraulic motors. The steering is accomplished by twisting each handlebar grip forward or backwards to make each individual side steer or drive...
Very cool, I wonder how it would work with a diesel engine, like a Mercedes Benz 617 3 litre 5 cylinder or a small Cummins?
I love the v8 symbol on the radiator !!
that's a bad ass rat-rod snow blower. you should put a turbo or a supercharger on top.
I was thinking the Terrafirminator from Gnomeo and Juliet....LOL! Really cool though.
"Tim the Tool Man" Allen seen with a profound chubby.
That is F$@%ING AWESOME!
Brings the fun to snowblowing! genious!
Introducing the Snow Exporter®...Irving Berlin's dream come true.
Awesome , i wanna have One of those !
yeah i saw this in pop.mechs.mag. a couple years ago.NO shit! im really glad to see this on the screen, moving. The mag stated it could throw 100 ft. or more @ radiator heated handgrips.I can die happy now ! THANX
I can't imagine the fun of trying to drag it back to the garage when, like all snowblowers, they crap out at the far end of your driveway.
thus proving you can do anything with a v8
This guy is ready for the ICE AGE .
Meanwhile in sweden we use shovels, but epic build!
That's out of this world

And I thought dropping a 7hp motor into a 20" Snowblower was a big deal! DOH!!!

Well you'll never have to worry about have too much to plow, your ready for feets of snow!
put a sulky on it and ride!!! great video keep up the great work
I bet that beast would work great on leveling dirt roads
Nice headers
very, very, very cool! congratulations on your good work! chapeau!!!!!!
thats bad ass man !
Rah Rah....you blew 2" of snow.
sweet blower! with all that tho, Id be tempted to add a skid or sulky of some sort. no need to walk with all the HP.... :~D

If I win the lottery someday I might have to get one. Nothing against Cheny, mine would be a big block Mopar.
Good work!
Nice! Use a C15 Cat engine for the next one 😂
LMFAO.... sending snow back where it came from... AWESOME!
''And now, the supercharged Snowman!''
what about that 2 stage behind you up against the garage for 6-7 inches of snow you have there it looks like it will do fine
All it needs is air horns, truck nuts, and chrome plated mud flaps with cutouts of women to complete this package!
three core rad mounted to the rear of the engine, twin thermostatically controlled cooling fans blow warm air on the operators legs...Warm coolant also flows through the handle bars for extra operator comfort.
Just think of how many will want you to clear snow for them now !
Monster, monster garage.
do the track move via hydralic or electric motor what about the chute do you have a radiator?
"Small parking spots easy to navigate" because I just climb it over the car like a monster truck lol.
you can also grind up your neighbors car🚗💥
@ProjectIronclad so what if it's not a 4 cylinder? you can still put on turbochargers
U da man!

What is the rpm on the snowfan compared to the engine?

Most of us fuel them up BEFORE we start to clear the driveway you bottle fed bed wetter...
the more power to you i salute you.
Why walk behind , make a tray and ride on it
This is absolutely awesome and hilarious. Canadians are awesome, eh!
I love it! If anyone asks why, the simple answer is.......because I can!
Take my money!
that is so bad azz looking
Should be able to ride on behind it rather than walking it. There's plenty of power to do just that.....
Howdie is it Still workin today In Canada we hav lots of snow none right Now Mighty nice build How Long it Take ya To Build Mind Me Askin Keep it goin Chevy Wins Thank You
Okay. That IS cool....But, what about a slant 6 snow blower. You won't have horses but, she will twist like there's no tomorrow (torque).
WICKED!!!! AWESOME!!!
Overkill.
Tim Taylor approves.
MAN WHO THE HELL WOULD BUILD SUCH A THING?!?!?!?!
It’s the answer to a question that nobody asked!...
I like it!
