Clive Spong’s illustrations sometime around the 1990s are better than the early books by Christopher. They feel like Dalby’s but better and more detailed.
@@prashantmohite4768The big red tender engine was The Flying Thistle, the big blue tender engine was just Gordon without a number, City of Truro (aka Duck’s celebrity friend), and Flying Scotsman. @NWR1991 Did this in the fashion similar to Rusty to the Rescue where Rusty interacts with the diesels facing away from the camera.
With Stepney pulling the special train with Thomas instead of Green Arrow, it makes it look like either the LBSCR or SR special that I've seen on Deviantart. And that is what I like.
The way you adapted the stories makes them feel like a real tv series adaptation. If they were adapted they way you did them, it would definitely be for season 4. I also like how you gave the narrow gauge engines speaking roles in Triple Header
I like it too but a story like ‘Not the Ticket’ holds me back from calling it great since it was a typical Chris Awdry story with Thomas getting a parking ticket. If it were more about Thomas overthinking about the fine and doubting himself I think that might make the book great IMO.
@@NWR1991”Wilbert the Forest Engine” is one of my favorite Christopher books too, regarding the character of Wilbert. Not one of the most memorable, but it’s good.
I think Wilbert’s book was boring since he really doesn’t have much character and most of the stories were just things happening to him. He never really had much development as a character hence why I made him different in my video to at least make him interesting.
@@NWR1991 Yeah, the stories are kinda dull, with the exception of Cab Over Wheels which is more interesting. The complexity of the story does pose some questions and theories about Wilbert and Sixteen.
I don’t see any connection that Wilbert is 16. It is more like a story he had heard from another engine over the years. I mean if he were suppose to be 16 Chris Awdry would’ve hinted it at the end or just would’ve outright stated it.
So why does Henry, coming from Crovan's Gate, come to Wellsworth before Gordon's Hill? Wouldn't it make more sense for the scene where he shunts the coach to happen at Maron instead?
In the book he shunted it at Wellsworth and with S4 remaining faithful, to an extent, to the books I went with that. Besides the TV series is known for its inconsistency with locations like how in S6 they’d mentioned Thomas having his branch line but showed him at Maron which is on the main line.
A full blown Thomas VHS made with love from NWR1991. Nice!
Ooh, the nostalgia of ABC Kids VHS bumpers! Who even remembers Widget?
The Triple Header episode would definitely be another lost episode of Season 4!
My guy, this is the best stories ever. Yet, it makes me realize why The TV Crew didn't do think of this. The is definitely S4 style. Really good
Can't wait to see Christopher Awdry Stories adaptation! 😁
These are excellent adaptations. It's hard to choose a favourite one.
This is a masterpiece. Perfect way to start the morning.
Oh man the classic ABC video opening was a flashback and a half
People might not like all of Christophers stories, but I quite like them, I think they're interesting

Love this dude great storeys

I hope to see more of these adaptations in the future. Well done 😊
Same, since I don't think many of Christopher's stories were adapted, though I could be wrong.
That was a really good selection of stories! Fantastic job!
Nice adaptations on those Christopher Awdry stories and it will be nice if they were actual Thomas episodes.
Woah! I didn't know you were a Aussie 😄 It's always nice to encounter another Thomas Fan from Australia!
Hitting me with a wave of nostalgia in less than a minute
The video are the best
“Thomas and the Great Railway Show” is one of the better books by Christopher Awdry, in terms of structure.
I like it too but a story like ‘Not the Ticket’ holds me back from calling it great since it was a typical Chris Awdry story with Thomas getting a parking ticket. If it were more about Thomas overthinking about the fine and doubting himself I think that might make the book great IMO.

It would've been interesting to see some more of Christopher's stories adapted. Especially this one in CGI

you know that picture where one of the dummy thomas models is on a lorry? i like to think this was him, except the face cover
90s-2000s ABC HELL YEAHHHHHHHHH

It not suppose to be Gordon. If it was he’s suppose to have his number :P
Great story
