Granddaughter keeps complaining I buy too much do we really need it? Well she just experience her first disaster a tropical storm the day before it hit everyone showed up at her job (Home Depot) to buy supplies, sandbags, buckets, mops, flashlights, batteries, water etc.... they ran out in a few hours, the customers were VERY upset, every store in town ran out of the same thing and the grocery stores were wipe out..... she just smile and felt relieved that I was fully prepared for power outage, food and supplies.... now word is coming out don't drink the water may be contaminated with E. coli ... no worries there I filled up our 7 gallon water storage containers before the storm hit (four) at a water dispenser machine (cheaper than buying water bottles) we been drinking them since it started and we have water storage in our long term water barrel and not counting a way to filter the water.... Granddaughter is not complaining about me no more........she understands now the stores only carried so much regardless they can have pellets of that product but when they show up by the hundreds they will ran out...........
It's like I said, for most folks, it takes something bad to happen before they finally see the light. I'm glad you were prepared and now she's on board. Have a great weekend 😁💛🙏
They say that most grocery stores have about three days worth of supplies but in reality when something happens like a hurricane or tropical storm that three-day supply that you say they have will last just a few hours. You do well in having extra supplies. Once there is a catastrophe by the time you make it to the store it will be all gone. Also if there are any desperate people it will not be pleasant to be in that area.

Love to watch your haul videos. I live alone but I do prep - I need far less than you but that is no reason not to prep. In bad times I have enough for me and enough to share with my neighbors and friends if times are tough. Love your videos - keep them coming.
I am one of those people on a special diet but I am not going to starve to death. I have a lot of stuff in my pantry that I should not eat. I try to pick things with lower sodium and less carbs even if it is more than my normal. I read all ingredients labels and just pick the best one. I have a large stock of freeze dried coffee. I can get through a lot as long as I have coffee.
Spam is popular in our pantry inventory we like the flavored ones like Tocino, Bacon, Hickory, Maple, ect.. some of those have about 30 to 40% less sodium & a lower fat content and in my opinion has much better flavor. Amazon recently had several types of the flavored Spam on sale at about $2.60 so we recently added 3 more cases. Good calorie value at over 1000 calories per can..
I didn't know they had all those flavors, thank you for sharing 😁 I'll definitely have to check out Amazon, I usually find pretty good deals there as well. Have a wonderful weekend 😁💛🙏
Perfect point! Always stock up on what your family will eat, I'm working on my stock right now. I have a few more pounds of sugar and my sugar haul is done for the year and flour is next to finish
Thank you for a great video! I have been trying slowly to stock up, but like alot of older people on SS it's difficult! Also most in my family aren't on board. So I just keep on going despite their negative attitudes!!! It can be done on a limited income just be a Ant and not a Grasshopper!😂
You can do it! 😁👍 Slow & steady wins the race. Hopefully, the family will come around before they are put in a situation where they wish they would have.
Same story here. Get laughed at by family until: well pump went out no water, sick family member rice home canned chicken broth and home grown pumpkin, .injured ankle need bandage, bee sting need benadryl, etc.. it's in food/supply storage. Not all laugh anymore.
I get man6 of the same things, I’ve already put up extra canned soup for the winter, even thought I like making my own with less sodium if can.. one suggestion, cornbread normally requires egg and milk, there are packages that require just water, which if don’t have eggs and milk is great to have. Same with instant mashed potatoes, there are some that say just add water..I also put up Almond milk in cartons(they are in the bottle juice section. I cook with it. It doesn’t have to be put in fridge until it’s opened. Right. Ow the Best Buy date is April 29 ,2024. It’s not as good as milk but good to have when run out of milk and I like better than powdered . Good preps I have the cans of turkey too for thanksgiving and the cans behind you and a lot of Walmart chicken . Have a good day
❤hi there! This is my first time watching your video, i hear Alaska Prepper talk about you few times so i got curious, i like the way you talk very friendly and familiar! Greetings from Holland, i add you to my list 😊
Great haul brother. Always like to see what others add to there preps. I would like to see more of your hauls. Some great ideas for myself and the wife to thin about on our next shopping trip!
Yes, we love food hauls so do bi-weekly.👍😄 If 10Lbs of Mahatma is $11.99 and a 20 Lb. bag of Jasmine was $27 then the 20 Lbs. of Jasmine is only $3 more than 2 bags of long grain. $27-$24=$3. If you like Jasmine then go for it. Have a great weekend, Grey.
@@GreyManPrepping Sorry, old habits.😄. I funded multi-million dollar gov't projects and had to be perfect. My credit card was $5M per month.😅. Made me feel rich.
I love hauls. It reminds me of things I need. I really like Keystone beef. I would probably add gravy packets to a haul. Cheap and can be stored in a glass jar for longer storage.
Yes I have spam in the cupboard and I remember when it came with a key. Also check in your area for liquidation centers. I have found three that are really great
I'm from a Farming Family that has always done Food Preservation & Home Canning and planted a Kitchen Garden. Our family for generations have rode out Natural & Financial Disasters with the previous year(s) surplus in the Pantry. So, when the Pandemic of 2020 settled in on the unprepared, we fortunately were not able partake in the fun. Thank you, Lord, for the Biblical story of Joseph, his brothers, the 7 years of prosperity & 7 years of famine.
God bless🙏 I hope this year my garden does much better. The heat played havoc on my plants. I finally started pressure-canning myself this year. I've been dehydrating for some time as well as dry canning. Stay safe! Susan 💛
Wow Grey! Jon and I stock alot of what you just showed. Braggs is an amazing company and we drink "go-go juice" with A.C.V. everyday. Please do share how you use A.C.V. and baking soda. You know so much, are you a veteran? My husband Jon is and he loves watching you. I am also half Puerto Rican and we drink the same coffee and use alot of the same spices. God bless you for sharing.
Hi, new her happy I came across your channel redoing my whole pantry all over again so these are some great ideas. I've never had to budget my kids and I we just eat whatever we liked and wanted but now we really need to budget and stock backup. Great video

Thank you for this information, I would love to see you bag for long term-I have rice, flour and dog food that I need to store. Thanks again & blessings!
Stocking up is very important. Right now, more than ever. Sazon is awesome. I keep that one on hand. Nido powdered milk is whole milk. Good one to have for cooking. Great video!
Beacuse everyones at a diffrent level of prepping I think newbies get overwhelmed so I really like to see when creators do beginner , more advanced , then advanced prepping videos....hope this makes sense

@@stellagardner4142 Oh ok, Well welcome to the channel 😁👋 I hope you find some of the videos helpful. Thank you in advance for taking the time to check things out. I hope you have a wonderful day! 🙏💛
I enjoyed the video, it gave me more ideas to add to what I have now. If you have a 5 quarter tree (Dollar Tree) nearby, check to see if they have the 1 pound bags of Himalayan pink salt. I found some a few times hidden on the bottom shelf and bought every one of them. 13 total in 1 haul, 5 previously 10 the first time I found them, yet I still add more when I see them. Wallyworld wants $5-8+ for a 1 pound bag almost identical to what I got a DT. The first few hauls were $1 each, others were 1.25 each when the switched to higher prices. I just drop them into a food grade bucket as is and snap the lid on.
Thank you Sheba 🙏 and I will definitely check the dollar tree because that's a great deal! I truly appreciate you sharing that 😁 I hope you have a great night 👍
@@GreyManPrepping you're quite welcome, glad to help spread the word on good deals and savings to anyone that's on the hunt for preps. Thanks a bunch and have a great day 👍
I get mine directly from Keystone, Amazon in the past has sent me dented cans are they are more expensive. Every once in a while Walmart will have them but they go quick. You stay safe as well 🙏😁
Yup… you’ve been busy! I can’t find keystone meats here in Mississippi. Ordered some from Amazon and cans were all dented. Maybe I can locate some at my sisters town.
Wishing you luck Sharon, Have you ever tried to order directly from them, so far I've had the best of luck that way and they will replace dented cans 😁💛
I have started to look for coffee that is packed in the tins. Because the tins are handy to put hot/warm grease in. The grease can be used for frying/cooking and also to make soap with wood ash/lye water.
That's a really good idea! I have probably over 20+ Cafe Bustelo cans I could repurpose for that. I've used them for small parts, coin storage, and so on. Thanks for sharing your idea 😊👍
I love seeing what other people get. Been offline from a storm., lost power Thursday night and finally got it back Sunday, so I'm catching up. This was a fun one!
Oh wow, well glad you ok and things are back to normal. I also had fun doing this one. I'm most likely going to continue doing bi-weekly hauls and also start doing long-term food preservation videos as well. Hope you have a great day 😁💛🙏
I bought cloth diapers for my kids cause diapers were flying off about covid hit. Then i start stocking up on dry milk. We also got a pasta maker cause i knew that my kids love pasta i didn't want to run out. But with the cloth diapers do your research on them there are so many of them. I've been noticing that every time i go to the store here in Utah Walmart has been more expensive even winco now 7 items are like 60 dollars. So with my garden this year I'm making spaghetti sauce an pizza sauce. I've been canning as much as possible so that i can feed my family. I have notice that food prices keep going up an same with gas. So please do food storage.
Thank you for sharing your experiences. I agree food prices keep going up and up as well as other goods. I hope folks learned a bit in 2020 about how fast things disappeared and the breakdown of our supply chain. Stay safe & God bless 🙏💛
Great information, thank you so much for sharing period I'm going to try the coffee you mentioned I've seen it at Walmart period the only problem with boxedtpasta is that if you don't use it right away, you may have a problem with insects period this is what happened in my pantry. And I've never considered The Thing you mentioned about. The pop tops on cans, thank you.
You are so welcome Melinda, I will be following up this video with proper long-term storage methods of pasta, flour, and so on. This will keep the products from bugs and increase the shelf life tremendously. 😁👍 stay tuned!
I started preparing my pantry last week, and so far everything is going well. I have a tip for women: you should stock up on your period items. I also have a question because I'm new to pantry preparation. How do I store water?
Great tip! I discussed this topic about a year or so ago as well. In regards to water, some folks stock bottled water, or have water storage containers. I have a mix. I'm getting ready to switch to 5-gallon jugs of water. I found a stand that holds I think 6 which would be 30 gallons. It's suggested that you have a gallon of drinkable water per day per person. I personally would also suggest having a way to purify water, in case there is a prolonged emergency.
This latest variant of the C is the exact same as a head cold. Got it a month ago, felt 100% again a week later. But we do prep in case stores get shut down or the supply chain is broken down
Well, I'm glad to hear you faired well 🙏 and yes it's always great to prepare for the unexpected, you just never know. Stay safe and thank you for watching 😁💛
Gray, I always like your pantry halls. I couldn't help but laugh. I bought the same case of pasta. You probably know, but they're switching to 12oz and not the pound. There macaroni 2lb is a good price too. I just started buying a 20lb bag of rice every week instead of once a month. I wish I could afford Keystone, but I still stock meats. I will have to look at that can chicken from Aldi. If it has the old top, I'll spend the extra 29 cents a can to have that type. I usually get the 4pk at Walmart for $9.99 and 4 a month. I'm still building not only my working pantry of a year to two years. But I'm trying to build my deep storage to twice my working pantry. With some deep storage off-site. Yes I would love to see you pack your deep storage. Thank you for showing your hall.
I liked seeing what you bought at the local stores there :) I will be trying that canned chicken for sure! I go through a lot of it! I don’t like the pull tops either, the Costco one is sometimes very hard to get open!
I love Spam and so does my brother (who is one of the people I live with) It was a part of our childhood for sure. I was-- and probably still would be-- a spaz when it came to the key 😆 I like it best fried with American cheese on toast and also with scrambled eggs.
Grey like how well organized you are. Just wondering how do you vacuum seal the coffee without it being sucked out with the air during the sealing process? It would be nice of you to do by weekly haul videos. Thank you God Bless 🙏❤️🙏
Hey Linda how are you 😁 I will have to do a video on it. It seems folks like to see how other folks process their preps. I'm going to loop that into my video content moving forward. 😁👍
Heidi at Rain Country says to either tuck in a small piece of paper towel or fabric as a barrier. I use paper muffin cups in my jars when vac sealing powdered items. See what works for you.
@@GreyManPrepping. Great idea! I think a video on how to properly store foods will be great for newbie’s…and even us old timers a refresh course would be great!

ACV can be used to make tinctures instead of alcohol. I also use it to catch fruit flies, which are a pain right now. I’ve started to stock up on Braggs glas bottles as well.
Something to think about, in 2020 stores had stock, there was stock in warehouses. It may have took time to restock selves but it was there for awhile. Now, there's no stock in most stores plus warehouses don't have items to ship. So now if there's a (lockdown) if it out, it's out.. with all the shortages now days it wouldn't take long for stores to empty. Just a thought!!
When they gave out extra food stamps i did what i could to stockpile the basic 7 of beans oats salt rice flour pasta n potatoes then got n My groceries. My neighbors used their extra stamps for pizza soda pop n hungry man dinners. I tried to show 2 how to do some basic cooking but i got nowhere. U can make flour from acorns. Grow ure own potatoes. Get a ton of oats from southern states dont get it with the blue additives thats for horses but will killl people. Grind oats thrn grind again at finer cut make same as QuKer oats for pennies. Use swimming pool salt much cheaper but ok to use.n eat. Plant 2 dwarf fruit trees per year n 2 grapes.
This was a great haul! I wish I could do a big buy like that, and also had more room to store food! I have to buy smaller amounts, like 5 pound bags of rice, because of my budget, but I have been storing food for a few years now, and have it in every nook and cranny in my small home! That’s a good problem to have, isn’t it?
I have several cans of the Keystone Pork and it’s REALLY good. I also have a LOT of Spam. I fry it up with peppers and onions and mix it in with rice. You can use diced potatoes instead of the rice and eat it with eggs.
i've been stocking up with my stuff from the local food pantry so all the canned items I still have and will exactly hold onto if the shit hits the fan basically I'll be well prepared I even bought some sterno stoves as well so if there's no power I won't have to worry about cooking issues I can still make my meals that way without the risk of carbon monoxide fumes because sterno stoves don't produce that I know it because caterers use that technology when they cater large events they have those to keep the food warm in the buffet trays I have done the same fashion and it works flawlessly I'm able to boil water for pasta and what not along with using a fry pan they work when you're in a pinch
That is great to hear and yes sterno is a great prep. I have several cases that I picked up from a catering agency that went under during the 2020 pandemic. thank you for sharing your thoughts! 😁👍

Love to watch your haul videos. I live alone but I do prep - I need far less than you but that is no reason not to prep. In bad times I have enough for me and enough to share with my neighbors and friends if times are tough. Love your videos - keep them coming.
Thanks so much! I truly appreciate the encouragement 🙏 also that's very kind of you helping others. Have a great evening 😁
Coffee is the lifeblood of my day as well 🤣☕ Stay safe out there Lana 💛
Me too!
We love our home grown onions. Froze some. Fresh green onions from the garden are so good.
Agreed, Our onions did pretty well this year until the heat came.
You’ll love it if your hungry. Get them that sounds good. It may come in handy
@@cbass2755Thanks Cbass 😁👍
Perfect point! Always stock up on what your family will eat, I'm working on my stock right now. I have a few more pounds of sugar and my sugar haul is done for the year and flour is next to finish
Thank you and sounds like you're making great progress Angie 😁🙏
Have a good day
Great minds think alike 😁 Thank you for sharing your suggestions as well. Have a great weekend 🙏
Would like to see more grocery hauls. Thank you for sharing.
More to come! Thank you for watching. I also set up a playlist where I'm adding all the grocery hauls. Have a great day! 😊
Thanks for showing the hauls, it always gives me ideas ❤
You are so welcome! 😁💛
Would like to see more pantry haul’s.
Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure and thanks for the feedback 😁👍
What a great haul. I will need to try the Keystone. I also like to buy the large spices and fill up the jars I use daily. Thanks.

When we do onions to dehydrate we wear goggles. Then I set the dehydrators up on the porch because it's mighty powerful!
I tried it once as a novice and it didn't fair well for me as well as the rest of the family 🤣😭
❤hi there! This is my first time watching your video, i hear Alaska Prepper talk about you few times so i got curious, i like the way you talk very friendly and familiar! Greetings from Holland, i add you to my list 😊
Rudy is truly a great friend, and I'm so happy you stopped by for a visit and took a look around 💛😁 thank you so much for the support 🙏
Great haul brother. Always like to see what others add to there preps. I would like to see more of your hauls. Some great ideas for myself and the wife to thin about on our next shopping trip!
Glad you found it helpful brother, Thank you for stopping by 🤘
Yes, we love food hauls so do bi-weekly.👍😄 If 10Lbs of Mahatma is $11.99 and a 20 Lb. bag of Jasmine was $27 then the 20 Lbs. of Jasmine is only $3 more than 2 bags of long grain. $27-$24=$3. If you like Jasmine then go for it. Have a great weekend, Grey.
🤣🤣 I said I was getting old lmao My wife corrects all my errors on youtube lol Thank you JT much love, and God bless you
@@GreyManPrepping Sorry, old habits.😄. I funded multi-million dollar gov't projects and had to be perfect. My credit card was $5M per month.😅. Made me feel rich.
@@JT-2012 Wowsers 😆
It was a 20 lb bag of Mahatma not a 10 lb bag. So 27 - 12 = $15 more a bag for the Jasmine.
I love hauls. It reminds me of things I need. I really like Keystone beef. I would probably add gravy packets to a haul. Cheap and can be stored in a glass jar for longer storage.
That would make a great addition. I love biscuits & gravy 😆 it's a nice comfort food for sure. Thank you for watching 💛🙏
Very nice GreyMan ✝️❤️
Thank you Raka 🙏💛
Yes I have spam in the cupboard and I remember when it came with a key. Also check in your area for liquidation centers. I have found three that are really great
Thanks for the tip, I never thought about that 😁👍
Glad I found your site. Lots of great information will be getting more stocked up so will be ready for winter 😀 God bless 🙏 you and yours
Welcome to the channel Jane 😁💛 Thank you so much for the visit and looking forward to reading you future comments! Have a Blessed evening 🙏
Stay safe! Susan 💛
Baking soda is a must! Cleaning, for heartburn, detox bath limitless
Agreed 😁👍
Flour....pancakes, tortillas, biscuits, gravies, etc.😊
Yummm pancakes 🥞 😁
Thanks for sharing this Grey! Great idea with the onions! Love keystone as well
You are so welcome! 😁🤘
God bless you for sharing.

absolutely love it it Grey!!! ❤ I am always continually learning from your videos. God bless you
Thank you so much! 😁💛
I enjoy watching what folks pick up in their pantry haul
Thanks for the visit Sue 😁 and appreciate you leaving some feedback.
Would love home remedies using baking soda. I feel like times are coming where we will need to get creative.
I agree Yarn, things just keep getting worse unfortunately. 😔
Hi, new her happy I came across your channel redoing my whole pantry all over again so these are some great ideas. I've never had to budget my kids and I we just eat whatever we liked and wanted but now we really need to budget and stock backup. Great video
Hello, Stacie 😁👋 Welcome to the channel. Thank you so much for the support. I hope you have a wonderful day 🙏
thanks for sharing, I'd love to see the process to save the flour and other items long term
My pleasure Robert, and thank you for your feedback, I'm definitely going to start to go more food preservation videos. Have a great weekend brother 😁👍
Thank you for this information, I would love to see you bag for long term-I have rice, flour and dog food that I need to store.
Thanks again & blessings!

Would love to know all the different uses & remedies you know of using baking soda. AC V also!
Noted! 😁 I'll definitely have to put out these video topics. Thank you for your feedback 👍
Love the rice too, the commissary has that same 20lb bag of Mahatma on sale for 9.16 a bag
That's an excellent deal! 😁👍
Stocking up is very important. Right now, more than ever. Sazon is awesome. I keep that one on hand. Nido powdered milk is whole milk. Good one to have for cooking. Great video!
Agreed wholeheartedly! Yes on my bottom shelf, I have my stock of Nido milk great to keep on hand 😁👍
Beacuse everyones at a diffrent level of prepping I think newbies get overwhelmed so I really like to see when creators do beginner , more advanced , then advanced prepping videos....hope this makes sense
Absolutely makes sense, If you look through my playlists I have everything from newbie how-to's to some advanced prepping content. I'm still learning myself. I feel you can never know too much! 💛👍
@@GreyManPrepping I actually just found your channel today so im looking forward to older videos!
Thanks a bunch and have a great day 👍
Have never seen a Keystone here in the stores in Central Texas - have to get them over the internet. Stay safe
Yes please, more pantry stock ups. Thanks
Thanks so much for the feedback 😁👍
Great haul. Grabbing the sales is a great way to prep. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure and thanks for watching 🙏💛
I have started to look for coffee that is packed in the tins. Because the tins are handy to put hot/warm grease in. The grease can be used for frying/cooking and also to make soap with wood ash/lye water.
That's a really good idea! I have probably over 20+ Cafe Bustelo cans I could repurpose for that. I've used them for small parts, coin storage, and so on. Thanks for sharing your idea 😊👍
Love ur pantry
Thank you! 🙏
Hope you have a great day 😁💛🙏
Love seeing your pantry hauls, keep them coming.
Thank you! Will do Dale 😁🙏💛
I got lucky and found 10 lbs of rice on clearance for $5. Added the 2 left to the pantry
That's a great find Michelle 🥳🤘
@GreyManPrepping you know me...always looking for the best deals. 💲💲
Wow!! Great deal!!
Thank you for sharing. I learned a lot!!
My pleasure Sharon, So glad it was helpful! 😁💛
I like to shop for whatever is or will be in short supply. Easy meal stuff as well. Thanks for sharing brother 🙏
My pleasure, God Bless 💛🙏
Awesome vid.. Totally agree when shtf you will eat what's there!!
Thank you 😁👍
Instant and regular coffee for camping.
Thank you Carolyn
This latest variant of the C is the exact same as a head cold.
Got it a month ago, felt 100% again a week later. But we do prep in case stores get shut down or the supply chain is broken down
Well, I'm glad to hear you faired well 🙏 and yes it's always great to prepare for the unexpected, you just never know. Stay safe and thank you for watching 😁💛
I freeze all flour, rice, etc., for 3 days...bring to room temp, then package for my long term storage. No pests...
Thank you Diane, for sharing your method 😁👍
Thanks, brother, I truly appreciate the support 🙏 We have similar goals, my friend, I'd love to get to 5 years 🤞 Have a great weekend!
@GreyManPrepping haul lol, and yes, we do. Enjoy your weekend as well, brother.
I liked seeing what you bought at the local stores there :) I will be trying that canned chicken for sure! I go through a lot of it! I don’t like the pull tops either, the Costco one is sometimes very hard to get open!
Thank you for the visit! 😁 Hope you have a great weekend 👍
Thanks for sharing!!! Great haul!!!

@@GreyManPrepping great idea Grey. I asked cause I always have trouble with these small or dusty things to vacuum seal. I'm doing well and you ❤️
Heidi at Rain Country says to either tuck in a small piece of paper towel or fabric as a barrier. I use paper muffin cups in my jars when vac sealing powdered items. See what works for you.
I paper bag Inside a jars and then vacuum seal it
@@GreyManPrepping. Great idea! I think a video on how to properly store foods will be great for newbie’s…and even us old timers a refresh course would be great!

That's a great use for ACV 👍
I totally agree with your perspective. If your working hard to survive you will be burning through calories
Thanks Troy! Truly appreciated brother
I agree most folks assume that the food will always be there, not understanding the current situation we are in. Thanks for sharing your thoughts 👍
When they gave out extra food stamps i did what i could to stockpile the basic 7 of beans oats salt rice flour pasta n potatoes then got n
My groceries.
A lot of great information here Steve, thank you Sir 😁👍and yep some folks out there will regret the decisions they make unfortunately.
Please do bi weekly haul, I basically do a monthly haul to fill in gaps. We drink Yuban Dark roast hand drip coffee.
Thanks for the feedback Boone 🙏
Good haul.
Thanks so much Betty 😁 I hope you have a great day 🙏💛
This was a great haul! I wish I could do a big buy like that, and also had more room to store food!
I have to buy smaller amounts, like 5 pound bags of rice, because of my budget, but I have been storing food for a few years now, and have it in every nook and cranny in my small home! That’s a good problem to have, isn’t it?
It really is 😁 I tell folks all the time slow & steady and before you know you'll have a good stock put up 👍

Mmmm garlic is my favorite! Have you tried getting frozen chopped onions and dehydrating those? It's way easier and less smelly 💚💚💚
It was recommended to me not to long ago, so I'm definitely going to give it a go 😁
i've been stocking up with my stuff from the local food pantry so all the canned items I still have and will exactly hold onto if the shit hits the fan basically I'll be well prepared I even bought some sterno stoves as well so if there's no power I won't have to worry about cooking issues I can still make my meals that way without the risk of carbon monoxide fumes because sterno stoves don't produce that I know it because caterers use that technology when they cater large events they have those to keep the food warm in the buffet trays I have done the same fashion and it works flawlessly I'm able to boil water for pasta and what not along with using a fry pan they work when you're in a pinch
That is great to hear and yes sterno is a great prep. I have several cases that I picked up from a catering agency that went under during the 2020 pandemic. thank you for sharing your thoughts! 😁👍
