- In this video, we go SEWER FISHING with HUGE LURES! I have already done a video similar to this one, but we used a tiny rat in that video. In this one, we used a MONSTER rat lure!
The way are WAY back in the sewers, and we cast our lures in them to pull the fish out! It took a ton of time to finally get the RAT LURE in the right place at the right time, but we finally did it!

Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.

It work best for me fishing Lilly pads and moss on top water. Skip it form pad to pad and over the top of moss
The rat lure had a really good action, that looked exactly how rats swim
I had to remind myself a couple times that it was a lure and not the real thing!

Lessons I've learned from bank fishing: Wear muted, natural colors, even camo. Use similarly colored equipment. Use medium heavy line (10-12# test) colored as close to the water's color as you can. Be quiet and use slow, deliberate motions, avoid unnecessary movements. Cast as far from the bank as reasonable. Let the water settle after a cast. Especially top water baits. When the ripples are done, retrieve. (And be ready!) Try to use baits that are or resemble natural foods. Fish bite baits for two reasons, hunger or anger. A hungry fish tries to swallow the bait, an angry fish just tries to remove a bait from it's immediate vicinity. Try these methods and let me know what you think.

I live in the UK and did alot of carp fishing when I was younger. One night, about 4am I'd had enough of catching small carp, so decided to mash a whole slice of bread with cheese, into a giant boilie the size of a small apple and launched it under some trees.
Twenty minutes later all hell broke loose, my rod was ripped right of my rests and I just managed to grab it, I couldn't control it anyway, it was like holding onto a speedboat, I'd caught 20-30lbs fish regularly but this was of the charts, my rod was using its whole curve and more but couldn't stop it.
After holding on to it for 15 minutes with my mates stood around aghast at what was happening, it changed direction sharply into some snags and moments later it was gone.
I knew this lake like the a family member, I'd fished every inch of it since a small child and never heard of anything that monstrous. I was on 20lb mainline with a Dacron leader and boom.
It was insane and freaky AF!

Nope believe it or not turtles if you do manage to hook them bite through your line. This goes for painted turtles too they piss me off because they eat everything.

Up in Canada a few years ago I caught a 4 lb bass on a fly rod that I brought along just for fun. 10/10 recommend. Good to fish outside the box sometimes.

That would be runoff and storm drain canals. It would be against the law in any state to flush out human waste into storm drains. Sewer lines go into sewers and pumped to water treatment plants by lift stations.

That is a half truth... In Pinellas county Florida we have combined sewer and storm drain which the majority of the time goes to treatment plants, BUT when we have major rainfall the system gets overwhelmed and is forced to discharge to waterways via weir walls as well as release from the treatment facilities themselves. So it depends on where you live and the type of sewerage system in place
