Another great review. For all the crap I have given the "Big four" over the years, I come to appreciate Henny and Courvoisier. Especially the VS offering, due to it's boldness and nice texture/viscosity. I don't like very sweet brandy, so Hine Rate VSOP is still my favorite.
Great video (from France) ! I love and i'm very proud of our specialities, so obviously, i love that peoples from all over the world love our specialities too. Cheers !
I like to walk in the evening for about 45 minutes in the biting cold of the Canadian winter and then head to my basement for a Cognac to warm me up. Hennessy VS is affordable and does the trick! Thanks for commenting!
Another great review! I tried this for the first time recently and I'm also a fan of it - a very unique taste. What do you prefer as a lower price range option, Hennessy VS or Courvoisier VS?
Which one would you recommend between this Hennessy and the Glenfiddich 15? Both with the same price. I am very new to this world and one of these is going to be my first bottle of a high quality, I have already seen reviews but I am not sure which one to choose.
Obviously I like the VS for the price point and as an entry level Cognac. because there are some really terrible VS grade cognacs out there. On the finish the Hennessy has a bit of a green apple or ginger bite that can become bitter, but I like that for some reason. However, I can fully understand how some viewers may not like that, and therefore as you suggest the VSOP is the place to go!
I would love to but the challenge is that where I live the selection of cognac is very limited. Before COVID19 I would travel and grab great bottles, but not now. However, I will add this Remy Martin release to my list. Best,
Thanks Jason i appreciate it . I just started getting into cognac and i must say it’s growing on me lol for now Hennessy vs is what I am drinking on my nights off after golf practice and I think it’s really good for the price . However the Remy 1738 is a step up I believe when I tried it and I can basically drink that straight. Look forward to the review thanks ps you might as well add the Hennessy black as well to your list of reviews I think it will be an awesome review !! Jeff
Bought a bottle of the Hennessy vsop as I’m trying it now the nose is amazing with , cinnamon,,hint of chocolate, spice ,rum cake the palette just as good as it smells !!
Can you please, tell me, what is the best temperature for serving whiskey? It looks that you drinking on room temperature, and i can not drink if its over 12c, but i want to learn :) Thank you
affordable and wildly available? are you comparing it to? XXO Cognacs? lol why do you keep comparing cognac to scotch? Hennessy is is high end Cognac and the regular VS beats anything else VS in the market, t's superior to VSOP variants of Martell, courvoisier and Remy Martin..better thna most XO's even. it's the best.
Hennessy VS is loaded with sugar !!! I couldn't believe how sweet this stuff is ! These big cognac houses are taking shortcuts in order to meet demand so they add sugar and something called boise and as a result their product is inferior ! Good cognac has a long complex finish, colored sugar water is sweet to the taste but is a huge disappointment !
Hennessy VS is just 🤮 Not sure how people can see any quality in it, just so harsh and boozy that I can't taste anything. Courvoisier and Rémy VS vanquishes this. The VSOP, however, is something special.

I continue to be amazed at how much I like Courvoisier VS. As you say its rough and bold but damn I like that.

Over here in North America, we just wish we could get more great cognac!
@@JasonDebly Martell or Hennessy for you?
Thanks for the review. I do enjoy a nice warm cognac on cold days. Will have to try Hennessy been liking Remy Martin lately.

Greetings from 🇩🇪
Very kind of you.
Jason Debly ...always a pleasure to follow 👍🏼
Thankyou very much for this review, about to buy a bottle for myself. Thankyou Jason.
I like the Hennessy VS, the VSOP Privilege, and the Black.
All good choices depending on budget and occasion.
is it best in cold or room temperature? I just got one and me and friends will try in on my birthday, thanks for this review!
Absolutely beautiful stuff.

Glenfiddich 15 has bot been good as of late. Would not recommend.
Hennessy is always solid.
@@JasonDebly OK, thanks a lot.
I love how blasted he looks doing these reviews. Nigga has the best life
Not a fan of the VS, but I do like the VSOP, which I think is reasonably priced and the XO, even though the XO is ridiculously priced.

Was that bottle full 30 minutes or so before you did the review? Just curious.
What’s the sweetest cognac you’ve tasted?
Nice fruity cognac with fiery finish. Cheers!
VS is harsh, try VSOP or Remi Martin VSOP if you want smooth cognac
Wanna rank them? I think vsop is the best one.
Thanks for this review! Please do Richard, if possible... cheer$
Will see if I can find it.
Great review could you please review Remy Martin 1738 I think you will like it even better but I do like Hennessy as well

If I had the time and money, I would have a watch channel. Since you noticed my watches, you know the addiction. Ha!
@@JasonDebly I will definitely sub! Love the way you present to the camera. And yes I am also a watch enthusiast.
