You should watch the live Las Vegas version 1972 or 1973 this was sedate the other version would blow you away. This man is so loved by my entire family. He truly was a gift from God to me. I’m devoted to his legacy and will always defend and support him till my last breath. Thank you
Your video skipped, he was very calm during this performance due to being televised to over a billion and a half people, young and old….out of respect he kept it clean.

If my math is right this performance was his 245th out of 434 times singing this song live from 1969-1975. So you could see he was tired of the song & lost love for it. But it was a hit, so it stayed in the set 😔

--------- not the good version, the 1970 version live in vegas was the best live one. BUT, the 1969 STUDIO version is perhaps Elvis' most brilliantly crafted song. Please compare for yourself.
