Great reaction to my man since 1956, never been anything like him. He was a generous man, "Elvis Presley King of Kindness", He loved people and just wanted to sing his music. Thanks Brad, Be Blessed.

The original song title, with some different lyrics, was One Night Of Sin. Back in 1956 his manager and record company, as well as Elvis, didn’t think the world was ready for that song. So Elvis reworked the lyrics and changed the title to simply One Night

Seek out the Marc Almond version of One Night Of Sin. A lovely slice of rock & roll sleaze.

The thing with Elvis, is that you HAVE to watch him live.
There are some absolutely brilliant performances from the '68 Comeback Special. He did multiple sit down sessions as well as ones where he stands and performs.
There is a better performance of this song from this concert.
But his 70's performances from Vegas are also mind blowing.
One perfomance from the '68 Comeback Special you need to check out is If I Can Dream, where he is wearing the WHITE SUIT.
I will link it below for you.
It was a tribute to MLK.
Please continue on this Elvis journey.
I have watched your other Elvis reactions, and noticed you do a lot of audio, which is fine but with Elvis it has to be live performances to really understand why he is so loved, even to this day, and it's not just about his music, it's about who he was as a person..kind, generous, loving.
You can see his personality shine through with interviews and you should check out the short documentaries, Elvis and the Black Community, A Generous Heart, The King Of Kindness.
But in the meantime, here is the link to If I Can Dream. I promise, you won't be disappointed. 😊

Fantastic reaction. I love watching him live. Would you play 2 requests for me? "Sweet Caroline" and "God Gave me a Mountain". You won't be disappointed. 🙂 Please keep playing Elvis. Thanks Brad. 🙂

Listen .. Elvis was much, much, more than dancing. I understand that you and some other reactors don't know him. Not heard him. His voice is better than any other. The reputation is from people in the US. He is versatile. Your reaction was good but what does everyone think and mean about crazy stuff. The US has a lot to learn. 1. Stop making him a caricature 2. Stop dressing up as Elvis on Halloween (that makes no sense at all) 3. Tell all those impersonators that he's not a fat man saying huh huh huh and thank you, thank you very much. It is always said in a stupid deep voice and an over southern accent. When Elvis speaks he does not sound like that at all. He has a good speaking voice. At least he acknowledged his fans by saying thank you after a song unlike others who think they are over privileged and expect adoration. All this is not directed at you, I am just sick of American reactors doing all of the above. I do not want you to make that mistake because people including myself will end up listening to British reactors. They andvI as a UK citizen, are respectful. We know when to laugh at something or not and appreciate his singing voice & only laugh when he's showing his sense of humour.
Stay on track and thank you .. just don't expect 'craziness'. He sung "In the ghetto" and there were US reactors saying " Oh he's going to go crazy on this one". What? On such a song as that.
So a big thank you for starting your channel again.

My parents got to see him perform live a couple of times during the 1970's. I was only a year old when this comeback special aired, but I do remember being a little kid watching the 1973 Elvis Aloha From Hawaii special in the living room with my family, back when there were only like 4 channels on the TV. It was watched by over a billion and a half people across multiple countries. It was pretty major. To put into context, the viewing audience was double that of the landing on the moon 4 years before.

I had bought the VHS Video when it came out, it became grainey after loaning it out to fam and friends. not too long ago, I found it on DVD, it turned out there are more of the Black Leather versions taped that night, including the polished version in a white suit, but another leather show I had not seen before. In ths (the original Black Leather), Elvis wasn't suppoed to stand up. Of course he did it anyway)...

This was a landmark comeback TV special for Elvis who was still young enough at the time to still be in the heartlight of the music world..(he had some hits that had been missing in the previous year or two.) It was the year before he setup shop in Vegas and eventually became a fat Elvis ..lol.. thanks for the cool reaction Brad
