Reminds me of a caterham with the fenders moving with the suspension. Technically a plumber could make a transition to fabricator with ease and mechanics do alot of plumbing on these builds not to mention a pipe fitter
You should reinforce the weak section with more than just that bolt on plate, welding some plate steel to thicken those frame rails would help considerably, that chassis was never meant to have that power or move at that speed.
idk exactly what you've got going on with joining the thin subframe and beefy tractor chassis, but those cracks may be in part due to the sharp corners causing stress concentrations in the metal, maybe try a radiused gusset where you have sharp corners, awesome work btw!
I'm picturing a Grind Hard Plumbing Museum where motorheads from around the world can come get close up looks at your builds/art.. Seriously, another great monster you've created!
Man, I wish you all would finish this! Of all your builds this is my favorite, the blown up Odesye 2nd followed close by the 3 (sometimes 4) wheeled Skidoo, or the Ute, or the... oh, hell, I like 'em all. But my fav is this Simplicity/Jaguar/Toyota.
God I love this channel! Most UA-camrs do builds with crazy engine swaps or twin turbos but normally it's still a roadworthy somewhat useable car in the end but your entire channel is based around making absolutely pointless, impractical vehicles that you can only use to have fun and nothing else. Builds that most people have only thought of "you know what would be hilarious..." but you guys actually build those ideas and that's just awesome.
My favorite thing is putting a completely unnecessary amount of power on regular yard equipment, so this is the type of thing I would absolutely build if I actually had any land to use it on.
Back in HS a buddy and I took a 125cc engine out of a Honda dirt bike and slapped it into an old riding mower. It was sufficiently ridiculous and basically impossible to steer anywhere after 2nd gear. We even put on the snow chains to get it some more traction cause the rear wouldn't hook at all....long story short, this is way more insane than that :P
"honey, why does the jag make that horrible grinding noise?" "because you need to turn up the radio." "ok, will do. i'm glad it was a simple fix. i was worried it was going to be complicated."
I've been watching a lot of your videos lately I'm currently watching the play list of the Jeep Hurricane And the to 2jz lawn mower It's actually kind of inspiring the more that I watch
To be honest it's just something I'm super intrested I love watching video like this I watch roadkill a lot and I love watching hoonigan videos I'm a muscle car car guy at heart And I'm proud of it
It will probably be like all the other electric builds automotive channels are doing right now. They need a whole new set of skills and a new group of experts to talk too so they take a step and then wait a while to take the next
I would so love to see this beast do a top speed run on a old air strip or something once it's tuned or even a pass on a drag strip. Even though I would imagine it be seriously sketchy to do
I'm sure it's been said a million times already, but I just can't believe you guys get paid to have this much fun! I love every build! This channel just keeps getting better and better! Bravo!
Tragic weather. However, this is the super summer. Take advantage of it! Wish I could afford to myself lol. This year is going to be a great test to all of tour builds. Cheers!

Gnarly. A steering wheel knob and a cutting brake could be good additions. Loving the builds. The 3 of you are killing it, Sam has been such an awesome addition to the channel
I'd imagine grafting a Power Take-Off to a 2JZ is no simple task, but that would be awesome regardless Edit: Alternatively they could rig a massive secondary 24V alternator like the CE Neihoff C-803D (525 amps of fury like holy shit man, and 24 volts too that's 12.6kW peak) and connect it via a switch and thick 4 gauge copper wire to an electric motor, or perhaps two motors in series one on either side to run the blades, and linear actuators running off the regular alternator to raise or lower the cutting head. But that's a shitton of work, adapting the normal mechanism and a PTO is far easier. Edit2: There's a measurement of HP per Foot in terms of PTO power requirements, and generally it seems to be 5 HP/ft. I don't quite understand what the unit represents, maybe per foot of grass cut per rotation of the blades? Whatever it is, the 2JZ has plenty of power, just gear down the PTO to speeds emulating a lower RPM torquey engine like a diesel or a Briggs, or pair the motor power draw to the maximum of the alternator. The C-803D outputs at maximum nearly 16.9 horsepower of electricity, and that maybe comes out at 15 horsepower at the motors, 7.5 per side, and I just realized I have no idea what I'm even talking about anymore, so I'm going to get a Tylenol and crash into REM sleep.
I'm so mad I've missed the last two videos until just now you tube DIDN'T notify me!! These last two videos didn't show up in my feed at all!.😡. Glad I found them!
Interesting point to consider is cutting springs makes them Harder/firmer! Except where there is lots of preload I guess then maybe you can get it slightly softer at start of travel.

When I was a mechanic in the late 90s early 2000s those jags were the most expensive breaker job we did. The c3 corvette was high also, but still half off the jag
I remember it was like $1200 mid 90's ish. I worked at the Jag dealer and could knock those out in a day. Upsell diff reseal (they always leak)and make good money!
you could take the area of space in-between the dash and the hood and put panels there for extra gauges and switches and youu could possibly move them back to be hidden so it still has the tractor look
Gotta put a small turbo on it! Just to have way more fun & they make so many parts for the 2JZ. I like that plate you made with all the dimpled holes...👍🏁
That thing still makes me nervous when you ride it..needs a harness and at minimum some type of roll bar but I’d like to see you build a cage like a pulling tractor has.
Rear brake pads arent bad on a jag when its up in the air. Takes about 15 mins....but the rotors/line replacements are a pain for sure! usually costs $600+ just for rotors
Should put some louvers on the hood of the 2JZ mower to help with cooling and reducing 'under-hood' temps. And would look cool haha. Awesome content !!!
For the cooling you could always try and put two of those civic radiators back to back to keep a factory look but give more volume at the same time. Things coming out amazing as it is though
I think some sort of vintage tractor oil bath air filter would be really cool and help complete the tractor look. Having an actual oil bath filter may not be practical for rough off road driving, but maybe you could just stick a regular filter in the housing? idk just a thought
It would be cool if we used the two shocks for both rear wheels in the center. Weld both to a center baring and have them slanted so it creats a triangle setup
I would get at least 2 points of contact extended out on rear subframe and connected the center chassis for torsion support. Would definitely solve the crack problem

on the rear, put the drivers side spring on the front passenger side spring on the rear... cancel axle wrap forces
I doubt it would make a difference on irs since you have two separate systems.
You don't have to worry about axle wrap on independent rear suspension.
there arent any axel wrap forces
I’m relieved that you put different springs in the front cause cutting springs makes the suspension stiffer...
