Can you give some tips on how/when to best 3P teams as I always get it wrong? Bad timing, pushing when I shouldn't, holding back too long when I should push etc. Cheers from the UK
My 3 stack always tends to land at the same 1 or 2 spots for every map. I'll be sure to keep all these tips in mind from here on out. Thanks for always being helpful!
So from what I have seen is that 500-550m is the distance is the sweet spot for dropping. There might be a more exact answer but generally I see my team getting down on the ground at the same time no matter which we choose as long as we are in that window
This is why I trust comment section! :D Honestly long as you are dominant in going there, its better than dropping 3 seconds late because you hesitate. Which is the bigger problem. One is easy fix. Other is harder fix.
I am going to try this, I started playing Apex last summer and all the videos for dropping were really outdated when I looked back then, this video and this comment may just end up being really helpful. There have been times where we are winning the drop and then all of a sudden a team literally just appears in front of us, sometimes even to the point of being body blocked/bounced out the way by them :( haha.

I actually saw a video a while back before the new season that it ALWAYS spawns on the left IF there is a weapon . I then tested it out and it was true every time . I think they changed that after the new season
@@Dazs I found out about this a few months ago when someone in a video made an offhand comment about loot bins having a pattern from right to left that had been switched to left to right I can confirm that a gun (if there is one) is always on the left, since then I have been looting bins from the left when dropping since, always works There is actually an order for the placement of every item in a bin from left to right, I can’t remember exactly what it is, Guns are priority 1, with their ammo next to them, and Grenades are the lowest priority I believe so will always be on the right
It be nice if he explained some of the fundamentals of dropping, seems like this video was more about looting than dropping. Air Speed is very important for landing first and I may have missed it but I don't think he said anything about it.
Awesome vid! So many great tips. The one thing that sucks when having to use an uncomfortable load out on a hot drop is getting the dreaded double p2020 loadout. Any other weapon I feel you can clutch with but p20 is praying for the enemy to be AFK.

Hmm. Early impressions, bur rhis guide is catered to those who already have a splid idea of the map layouts. I was hoping to find some way of spotting high value targets from above, but i guess i just have to get my memorization on.
Awesome video i don't like the map rotation in ranked right now in season 17. i mean, 1 map is hard enough for learn all the good spots, either loot or fighting spots. Now 3 with rotations just.... sucks
Biggest advice, STOP GIVING UP JUMP MASTER UNLESS YOURE WITH FRIENDS. Literally can’t tell y’all how many times I use to give up jump master and people would drop us hot with 4 teams and we had to 50/50 all the loot. 9/10 the teams who all dropped with one another aint winning and the team on the outside probably just gonna pick everyone off. Also if you give up Jump master and ping a spot, you instantly lose your say on where we are gonna go. I’m not the best, but damn is that such a bad habit I use to have.
The real problem is people taking everything and leaving you with nothing Own simple drops They see that you open the loop band but they still try to take all your stuff 😅🎉
COME ON!!! Hierlooms, tap strafes, priomo wall bounces and not mention great explanations on tactics. Drop a sub, 173k is not right this guy derseves more everyone
What are good loot areas for command center and cascade falls? Also the Museum POI in World's Edge? I guess plan a) land on good loot, Plan b) find an exit in case people land on you or you dont get the gun, plan c) land safer get guns and go to the hot drop zone. That is the jist of dropping hot in Apex or dropping in Apex correct?

Not to be that guy, but I was told 450m is the best from mokey? It was either him or Ottr, Can we get this tested?
For real we need a test cause I be doing that and I never land first
it depends on the height of the terrain and also on the map. but anything between 400 and 600 is probably fine

@@Dazs sometimes I enjoy dropping a split second later when the beef kicks of I can clean up easily when I play horizon or wraith
Never see anyone dropping at the loot cave at 3:55 I personally enjoy landing there for the armor and easy rotations.
Hot drops only
The weapons always spawn on the left-most side of the pill. Always stand on the left side when opening a pill and looking for a gun.
I was under the impression that if a supply bin had a gun, it would spawn at the leftmost slot

Quick tip Dazs if there is 1 gun in a bin it will always spawn on the left side in the bin😮
