- An extraordinary dawn greeted me atop Catbells this morning. Rising before the sun, I was rewarded with a breathtaking spectacle. Not just a ribbon of pink painting the eastern sky, but a full 360-degree panorama of blush and fire. It was a sunrise I'll never forget, forever etched in my memory. And to have captured some of that magic in photographs - well, that makes it perfect.

Wow, what a morning, well done for getting up and out there that time of day in them conditions but man you were rewarded and you certainly capitalised on it so many great images great colour in the sky with the snow covers peaks looked stunning!

Hi mate. Awesome set of shots. Your first shot with the cairn, would be a top shot for the calendar for 2024, but you could do the full calendar with what you took there mate.
i am not sure ill be doing a 2024 calendar mate i could not sell enough last year..

This has to be your best work Paul. Stunning shots, i would say you were so lucky with the conditions BUT i actually dislike that theory. You were out, you made the effort, you got there and you were ready to make some stunning images, well done my friend, you must be thrilled

Paul, you have been known to get a bit of stick off other photographers ... but of ALL (including the really big names) the British landscape vloggers you put the most effort in, most of the cost I'm sure out of your own pocket, as well as holding down a full time job. If you need to take a bit of a break I know you'll come back even stronger.
I also try not to use too many superlatives when describing vloggers photo's but that set of shots you took up there were 'superb', and subtly edited .... not a sign of an armageddon sky or a vignette 😉
