Actually no.. let us explain: The DR's location actually does not get hit by hurricanes as often due to how the wind movements push hurricanes either above us or under us (last one was in 1998). Then, the North Coast (where Casa Linda is located) is surrounded by a mountain system, in which if a hurricane happens to hit us, it will be less damaging.
Hi John, thanks for watching! We have affordable housing prices when compared to North America, as well as affordable lifestyle. Find out more at buyincasalinda.com or contact us with specific inquiries at info@buyincasalinda.com :)
Hi! We were there a few years ago and spent an afternoon with Steve and looked at your neighborhood. It was great! We are planning a 2 week trip in February and would like to take that time to stay in Casa Linda to see how we like it. Are there churches nearby to attend? Thanks! We look forward to our next trip as this is where we may want to retire.
Hi there! That is amazing, glad you got to experience our community. Regarding churches, there are a few options of international churches around La Mulata and Cabarete areas(close to Casa Linda). :) See you soon!
Just watched your video, in fact we have been aware of Casa Linda some three years ago. When we first discovered Casa Linda, we thought we had found heaven on earth. All your promotional videos made us believe there is no other place to be or want to be. But unfortunately you sold out Casa Linda’s heaven on earth to rentals and Airbnb’s. All the noise and recklessness from this wild renters makes Casa Linda something real residents detest. Why did you guys sell out the retirement heaven to renters and Airbnb’s ? Such a shame :(
Hi there! We have been renting villas since the start of our community, and it's actually what makes it interesting. Those owners who decide to rent their homes through Airbnb are making profit while away, and it's a very profitable business for them. Just as in all other communities in the area, Casa Linda's end is to make sure that security policies are followed as much as possible!
Living the tropical dream congrats to all in a thriving community
No hurricanes in the DR! Of course they get hurricanes!

Looks amazing, worry about affordable prices…
