Rizz is a champ!!! Scenery looked fabulous and yes, need to be extra cautious with all those rocks on the trail...absolutely beautiful....I’m sure your heart skipped a beat or two when she took off....glad when she came back!
Yes she is! I've did a few trips with her now and she's done really well. That was the first time she has gotten loose on the trail so I was a little worried.
Beautiful scenery! Rizz is a little trooper hiking over all those big rocks and boulders. When I hike with my poodle mix, I usually wear a skijoring belt and attach his leash to it so my hands are free to use trekking poles. Old knees make it a necessity.
She did great! Now if I could just get her in the canoe. She wants nothing to do with water. Iv'e thought about one of those belts but she's pretty strong when she pulls. I just wonder if she would catch me off guard and yank me to my death lol. Guess I would have to try one. Hands free would be nice! My niece has one for her dog and seems to like it, but her dog is much better trained.
Great video and some amazing views. Rizz was definetly the star of the show and even threw in a little drama for you as well. She did great. It must have been tricky holding her leash and controlling the camera as well as navigating over some of those rocks and boulders. You both did brilliant. Keep up the great work and happy hiking 😁⛰️🎥🥾🥾👍👍
Thanks! I got her a better harness now so hopefully no more drama with that. Your right it was a little tricky recording, lots of sloppy footage that didn't make the cut. Thanks for watching!
I would never think that New Hampshire would be so beautiful. Looks like a good workout on the way in. I love all the waterfalls and the views up top were wow!!! Can I ask what you use to add the map in the beginning to show the trail you took? I am so glad you found Rizz!!
Yeah it's nice there. I love New England! For the map I just took two pictures of the same map, one of them I added a line where the trail is using photo edit on smart phone. The other without a line. In video edit I layered the one with the line on top of the other. Then I use a crop and fade transition to put the line in motion. Hope that makes sense.🤯 Thanks for watching! ATB ~Kevin

@@UpNorthAdventures the center of gravity is much lower and it's harder for my dog to pull me off balance.
