I have been using superior drummer for my whole life and nothing else has been able to persuade me buying it. This one from UVI has broken that tradition :))
I have always liked UVI’s trailer, preset showcase and overview uploads on UA-cam whenever presenting a new product! Great sounding, UI looks neath. Really like the subtle overall look. Greetings from the Netherlands and thank you for sharing these videos! -Devin
What an awesome plugin... can't believe I actually wondered for a while whether I needed it! Stick this in your DAW and you have the next best thing to a real-life funky drummer. Groove a bit too "loose" for your liking? Just drag and drop it, quantize and humanize to taste! The humungous volume of samples (153,000???) takes quite a while to load but it's definitely worth the wait...
I love hearing Cameron's Voice in the background while I make purchases. Seriously get sold so quickly by UVi products. Also their support and their interaction with the community is just great. Keep it up UVI! PS Can we please get Toms in Drum Designer?
I see "Effects" and "Arp" tabs on the top of the UI. Can we program custom drum patterns using the Arp? Or can we put this in a combinator with a drum sequencer? Sorry but I haven't read the user's manual and I'm looking at a lot of software to purchase right now and if you could just let me know these things real quick it would be great. I'm going to probably buy this just because of the quality of the samples, I'm just trying to determine the most efficient way to utilize it in projects using my standard DAWs: StudioOnePro, Reason Suite, Maschine2 and AcidPro. I LOVE UVI and have all of your other stuff I believe.
Hello Joe, The Effect and Arp tabs are from UVI Workstation, in the Effect tab you can find your master effects (it's best to access them from the FX page). The Arp tab was not designed to program custom patterns but just to launch a basic arpeggiator. If you have any further questions, please reach out to our support team at uvi.net/contact-support Take care
These sound great. But how much of what I'm hearing is due to bus processing? Because I like to multi-out my drums. And with most other drum VIs, preset sounds are lost once their multi-outed.
Hey! Sorry for the super late reply. The demos in this video are actually all from the factory loop library! However, if you're manually programming a loop, there are a few roll articulations at C0 and F0 that you can use.
Hello, Yes, I, O and D lines are indeed for the mics, the I is for the first direct mic (BD1), O is for the second one (BD2), and D is for the digital sample part. Hope this helps!
Hi Darrin, You can activate Multi Out mode within Soul Drums and then make the connection with your DAW. More info available here > support.uvi.net/hc/en-us/sections/115000545205-Setting-up-Multiple-Outputs-for-UVI-Workstation
Your videos are GREAT.. 2 points to ask.. Could you speak a bit slower. Can you get a higher resolution video camera.. Even full screen the printing on some VI's are too small and blurry to clearly make out. You're speaking voice is AMAZING.. You could, should be picking up narration gigs. Great work.. Thanx
this is amazing indeed... inspiring...
As a longtime drummer....I AM SOLD....WOW! VENUS really added his touch to this.
Cameron on UVI! I'm sold, no need to watch the video take my money UVI
Thank you UVI for feeding my software acquisition syndrome... I love these drums.

This is a no brainer. Awesome interface.
Can't wait to get my hands on it!!
Oh wow this is awesome. I was just about to purchase someone’s live 🥁 drum pack but this is right up my alley. UVI has done it again.

👏👏 Awesome interface, it would be nice if I had a trial version
Interesting to know how they hold against Addictive Drums, especially in terms of workflow flexibility.

:: Hi, Cameron! I think I heard some rolls in your demo. Is there a key assigned to it or did you make it yourself? Thank you! ::

@@VenusTheory: thank you for the answer!!
They actually sound rather nice.
What are the I, O and D lines, which look like level indicators? Are those for the different mics, or what?
Hello,
Yes, I, O and D lines are indeed for the mics, the I is for the first direct mic (BD1), O is for the second one (BD2), and D is for the digital sample part.

Is very interesting but have a multiple outputs channels? Set route each sound on different track channel… I like it.
Yep! 1:33
Anyone knows what kind of real life drums could sound like the intro ? 0:03
I’ve noticed dude isn’t a demo producer like that he pretty much talks about what he uses that’s it.
How is it possible, to drag and drop the midi grooves from the Soul Drums to the DAW?

Export
CAN YOU ALL SHOW HOW TO USE THE MULTI OUTPUT MODE PLEASE? THE MANUAL DOESN'T even cover that part at ALL!!
Hi Darrin,

You can slow down the video by clicking the cog and choosing a reduced Playback Speed.
We are here to hear the tones . Too much explanation
