Normally he is but those are not Sonor lugs and the artist bronze comes with all black hardware and the lugs are single not double. I own one and this aint it! I don't know what drum this is! I thought it was maybe his old HLD 598 but his is not 8" deep I don't think. Could it be a Tama bronze or a Jeff Ochiltree?
He told about this snare in some interview. This vintage snare from sonor, it was in a bad shape and was restored in japan. Tomas Sonor endorser and i think he can't play on other drums, especialy on video.
whoever mixed this should be disciplined its too trebley and sibilant its hurting my ears just with his voice. and Tomas.... like you use splashes...... maybe back in the first album perhaps
It's funny to hear Tomas talking about splashes when he uses heavy-rides like crashes.

When I was mor pro 19" crashes was the biggest one I had.. Cool drummers to day be like: 24" splash stack.. with holes... but I use it as a hi-hat.
