New Pokémon Snap, I choose you!
Another excellent video! I still need to really play this entry, but I was hyped as heck for it, especially since the original on the Nintendo 64 was the first Pokémon game I ever played. I still feel that the Wii U was MADE for this game, but although it never happened then, I'm happy we got it, and that it's on the console's successor, especially since more people get to play it now.

I loved the original game so much. I used to play it for hours. Because the internet was practically a fetus, i couldn't just dial up the internet and see what pokemon were in the game. So i was convinced that certain pokemon were hidden. So i played over and over to try to find them all.
I still need to play this! I have played every pokemon game except this one. I was completely and utterly broke when it came out and just never went back to get it.

This was a fun review to watch! I remember really liking New Pokemon Snap when I played it, but never touching it again after beating it because the replay value is pretty limited. Still, it's by-far the best-looking Pokemon game, and makes me wish we had these guys working on the mainline games instead of Game Freak... : /

That was awesome! I have to confess that I'm not sure if I can even call myself a Pokemon fan considering that to this date, the only Pokemon game I've played is still Pokemon Go (not Let's Go, just the phone one -- I mean, as lately as last weekend, I was making special trips in to my office just to catch 'em all). Isn't that quite literally, "I'm not a real gamer 'cause I play mobile games"" lol? Anyway, this looked like a lot of fun and I may need to play it eventually. You'd probably know the answer to this considering what you do for a living -- you know how Guitar Hero helps you practice actually playing the guitar at the higher game levels, does Pokemon Snap help you improve your real life photography skills?
It might help a tiiiny bit, but not much. Especially since you take pictures while everything is moving, its not quite a learning tool. I'm sure the photo editing will give you some experience though!
@@Randombystanderhere Oh, that's a very good point. It might help practice for say, photographing animals or stuff you can't ask to hold still, but nothing else.
Here's hoping the next pokemon game coming out next year rights the ship. No slight against snap but I really love the monster collecting and RPG mechanics of the main line pokemon games. Part of me wishes for a return to the top down 2d pokemon games of old but I'll settle for a 3d open world pokemon game that's just really good and really well put together. Honestly they should just go all in on cell shading the next game and making it look like the anime that is so well liked.
Of course, Pokémon games are classic for a reason, and I hope ZA Is a good one, or we get a classic game on Switch 2 that outshines the past ones! Here’s hoping!
