COLD RIDE ON MY KTM 1290 SAR TO WINTERIZE THE RV

Spring time in WV can provide some crazy weather. Unfortunatley a cold streak came through and I needed to get up and winterize our RV. Cold and Windy day on the KTM 1290 SAR but it felt great to get out after not riding most the winter.

Heated gear is the answer to cold! It has transformed winter riding on my 1290SAS here in the UK. Cold rider = less observant/less alert rider who is more susceptible to accidents/injury.

I am also fired up for the riding season with my recently acquired 1290 SAS. I only got 700 miles on last fall before I tucked it away. I am a bit confused on your winterizing. Shouldn't that have been done before winter????

We got a few 70 degree camping days and was a little to eager thinking spring was here to stay.
