Mario?...
My take on some of the themes found around Luigi's Mansion together with a little bit of Super Mario World in the middle of the mix. Originally intended for this to be out before Halloween, but it got a little bit delayed xD
Definitely one of my favourite soundtracks ever, so it was a delight to remix it and to mix in some parts like the GB Horror and minor things from the exterior theme and E. Gadd’s Lab ;D
I arranged this in Cubase, and I used a lot of East West Symphonic Orchestra instruments to cement that horror feeling, like the french horn, harpsichord and xylophone. Also for those curious, Plogue’s Chipsounds was used for the chiptune sounds, and I used NI's Razor for the bass ;D
This was also the first time I made a visualiser to go with my music, and it’s basically what convinced me to invest in After Effects ^^;

Luigi's Mansion 1: One giant mansion where you collect money and capture various ghosts while searching for your brother.
Luigi's Mansion 2 (Dark Moon): Now you have FIVE mansions and you have to fix a moon that keeps all the ghosts friendly. Oh, and you have to save your brother again.
Luigi's Mansion 3: Now you have one GIANT hotel with various themes each floor. Not only do you have to save your brother, but three toads AND the Princess, while working your way up the building. On the plus side, you have a helpful ghost dog.

I have a huge playlist I call The Ultimate Nintendo Soundtrack where I put my favorite video game songs and remixes into it and after listening to the first 5 seconds of it I immediately went to "Save" and added it to my playlist. Amazing and probably the best Luigi's Mansion remix I've ever heard. Holy crap...

I like how Luigi dies throughout the course of this song. You hear him call for Mario 3 different times, with the last one being very desperate. Then the next voice you hear is King Boo's mocking laugh.
